The Monday night clash between the St. Thomas Tommies and the Washington State Cougars is going to be an interesting one. Washington State enters this game as a slight favorite, but the Cougars are off to a rough start to this season and need to play better basketball to avoid a third straight loss. Before tip-off from Pullman, continue reading to get my St. Thomas vs Washington State prediction.
Pick: St. Thomas +2.5
Confidence: ★★★☆☆
Score Projection: St. Thomas 77 – Washington State 78
Win Probability: St. Thomas 36%, Washington State 64%
This game is going to be very close, as neither team has proven itself capable of winning games by any sort of convincing margin thus far. I'm going to take the points with St. Thomas in this matchup, as they should be able to defend just fine against a Washington State team that has struggled mightily to pass the basketball well enough to set themselves up for clean looks at the basket.
