Key Storylines
- St. John’s has won four straight games heading into this clash, including impressive wins over Creighton, Marquette, and Villanova. They shoot a high field goal percentage and have multiple scoring options, led by Zuby Ejiofor and Bryce Hopkins during the streak. Ejiofor leads the Red Storm in points, rebounds, and assists this season and he will be a key factor in this contest as well.
- Seton Hall has struggled recently with perimeter shooting, going 10‑of‑54 from three over their last four outings and struggling to find consistent scoring. No Seton Hall player averages 12 points per game or more this season, as the Pirates prefer to win games on the defensive end of the floor.
- The Red Storm will enjoy the crowd advantage at MSG and have leaned on efficient transition offense and strong second‑half performances to pull away from opponents. It will be interesting to see if Seton Hall can bring some crowd support to this game as well, as they are located in nearby New Jersey. St. John's could see its usual home-court advantage at MSG dulled somewhat against a local rival.
- The clash of styles in this game will be interesting. St. John's averages over 10 points per game more than Seton Hall, while Seton Hall allows 9.1 points per game less than the Red Storm. The tempo of this game could go a long way in determining the outcome.

Final Thoughts
This Big East rivalry tilt favors St. John’s in most analytical categories. Their offensive efficiency, depth, and confidence from stringing quality wins together all suggest they will control the flow of this game and cover the spread. Look for the Red Storm to win by double-digits at home and for them to get a fifth straight victory here.
