Key Storylines
- Michigan is 20-1 overall and 10-1 in Big Ten play after an 83-71 road win at Michigan State. The Wolverines climbed to No. 2 in the AP poll this week and are projected as heavy favorites the rest of the way, so long as they can stay healthy.
- Penn State improved to 10-12 and 1-10 in the league with a 77-75 home win over Minnesota on February 1, sealed by a late Kayden Mingo layup. That ended a long conference skid and should bring some belief into a difficult road environment.
- The January 6 meeting in Happy Valley closed with Michigan laying a massive number near -24, yet the Wolverines escaped 74-72. Expect sharper focus from Michigan back at Crisler, given how tight that contest became late and how many elite teams were upset in the last couple of nights in college basketball.
- Player form: Michigan’s Yaxel Lendeborg leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 14.7 points and 7.2 boards per game, with Elliot Cadeau steadying the backcourt. For Penn State, Mingo headlines the guards at roughly 14 points and 4.7 assists, with Freddie Dilione V providing secondary scoring.
- Stat edges: Michigan averages 90.5 points and allows 68.9 with 51% shooting and 41.7 rebounds per game. Penn State averages 76.5 and allows 78.4, shooting 47% with 30.2 rebounds. The glass is a major separator and a likely driver of extra Wolverine possessions.

Final Thoughts
Michigan should dominate this matchup from start to finish over an overmatched Penn State team. The Nittany Lions kept things close against Michigan at home, but asking them to do so in a hostile environment seems like too tall a task. I'm going to lay the points with the Wolverines in what should be a lopsided contest in the Big Ten.
