Key Storylines
- Tennessee State enters the championship game as the No. 1 seed in the OVC Tournament with a 22–9 overall mark and a 68–55 semifinal victory over UT Martin, led by standout guard Aaron Nkrumah.
- Morehead State, the No. 2 seed, earned its spot by knocking off Southeast Missouri 66–61 behind a strong performance from Anouar Mellouk.
- The biggest storyline going into these mid-major conference title games is how each team will handle the pressure of this moment. - Aaron Nkrumah: The Tigers’ primary offensive engine, Nkrumah led Tennessee State in the semifinal with 19 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals. He averages about 17+ points per game and provides all‑around contributions on both ends.
