Key Storylines
- Duke’s current resume: 20-1 overall, 13-8 ATS, and 10-0 at home with an offense averaging 85.0 points and 50% shooting. The defense limits foes to 64.3 points per game with active hands generating 8.4 steals.
- Boston College’s resume: 9-12 overall, 9-12 ATS, and 1-5 on the road with 68.1 points per game and 40% shooting. Long stretches of half-court scoring droughts have kept their point totals down all season and they could have a hard time against an elite Duke team here.
- Star power edge: Duke freshman Cameron Boozer leads the Blue Devils with 23.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 4.1 assists. For BC, guard Fred Payne averages 15.2 points and initiates much of the offense, while Aidan Shaw leads the Eagles on the glass at 6.7 rebounds per game.
- Recent form indicators: Duke has won nine straight games going into this matchup. Boston College has lost two straight games and they have won just one true road game so far this season.
Head-to-Head & Betting Trends
- Past meetings: Duke is 10-0 straight up over the last 10 meetings against Boston College. The most recent was an 88-63 Duke win in January 2025.
- ATS and O/U records: Duke is 13-8 ATS this season and 7-14 to the under. Boston College is 9-12 ATS and 7-14 to the under. These teams have split their last 10 meetings against the spread despite Duke dominating straight up.
- Home/road splits: Duke is 10-0 at Cameron Indoor with consistent two-way play. BC is 1-5 away from home with persistent shooting issues and fewer second-chance points on the road.

Final Thoughts
Duke checks every quantitative box at home: elite efficiency, turnover creation, and a consistent edge on the boards. Boston College has competed better of late, but the step up in class in Durham is significant. With Cameron Boozer dictating play and Duke’s depth overwhelming the BC rotation, I'm projecting a blowout win for Duke here. I'll lay the points with the Blue Devils as their stranglehold at the top of the ACC should continue against an overmatched opponent.
