The women's freeski slopestyle competition at the 2026 Winter Olympics is set to unfold at Livigno Snow Park. This event brings together technical rail setups and jump features that demand both creativity and precision. As athletes from around the world prepare to contest for Olympic glory, expectations are high following recent World Cup results. Before the action begins on the slopes of Italy, continue reading for my Olympic women's freeski slopestyle prediction.
Here are the current outright winner odds for the women’s freeski slopestyle competition at the 2026 Winter Olympics:
One of the biggest storylines leading into the slopestyle finals is the presence of Mathilde Gremaud and Kirsty Muir at the top of the betting odds. Gremaud is a seasoned Swiss competitor and has had consistent podium performances. She enters these games with serious momentum after top results in World Cup slopestyle events this season. Muir, representing Great Britain, has also demonstrated elite form. She has frequently challenged the leaders during qualifying events. These two are separated by only narrow margins in betting markets, indicating bettors see this as a genuine duel for Olympic gold.
Another key figure is Eileen Gu Ailing. While widely known for her prowess across multiple freestyle skiing disciplines, Gu’s slopestyle results have included World Cup triumph prior to these Games. Her technical difficulty and history of Olympic success make her a contender that cannot be overlooked. Her odds remain strong, and she could absolutely disrupt the leaders with a memorable run.
Canadian competitors are also prominent in the field, with Megan Oldham, Olivia Asselin, and Elena Gaskell among those listed at longer odds. Canada’s depth in freeski talent means multiple athletes are capable of delivering a podium finish if they find rhythm on finals day. Other athletes like Sarah Hoefflin and Anni Karava bring experience and World Cup points that could serve them well on a big stage, even if a gold medal is unlikely from them.
Pick: Megan Oldham ATS PRO
Confidence: 2/5
One of the top three names on the odds list above is expected to grab the gold medal in this event. But I'm going to go a little further down the list and take Canada's Megan Oldham to get the job done at longer odds. Oldham has the jumps to contend here and I think that, from a pricing standpoint, she has the best value available here.
With this field not having a clear favorite, we could see some uncharacteristic mistakes out of these riders, either due to the pressure of gold medal contention or from the athletes trying to throw down bigger runs to separate themselves from the pack. That could create some chaos that makes it beneficial to back an underdog and Oldham could be the best choice of those underdogs.
