Sweeps Coins on Spindoo can be redeemed for real prizes once a few basic requirements are met. Players need to reach the platform’s redemption minimums and complete identity verification before requesting a payout.
Below, we’ll explain how Spindoo redemptions work, including SC minimums, payout timelines, and the steps involved in claiming a prize.
Yes, you can redeem real prizes on Spindoo using Sweeps Coins (SC).
The site runs on a dual-currency system, where Gold Coins (GC) are used to play games for entertainment and SC are the coins actually tied to prize redemptions.
When your SC become eligible, they can be exchanged for prizes at a 1 SC = $1.00 rate. That’s the standard conversion used across most of the top social casinos.
Spindoo offers two ways to redeem Sweeps Coins (SC) for real prizes: cash prizes sent to your bank account or digital gift cards through Prizeout.
Most players prefer redeeming their winnings as a cash prize, since the funds are transferred directly to a linked bank account. To request a cash prize payout at Spindoo, you’ll need at least 75 SC in your balance.
Spindoo also lets players redeem SC for digital gift cards through Prizeout. These are delivered by email and have a lower minimum redemption amount of 10 SC.
The available options can vary, but players can often choose from popular brands like Amazon, Walmart, and other major retailers, along with various dining and entertainment gift cards.
How long a Spindoo payout takes mostly depends on the redemption method you choose and whether your account has already been verified. In general, gift cards tend to arrive faster than cash prizes.
If you redeem SC for Prizeout gift cards, they’re usually sent by email within about 24-48 hours after the request is approved. Cash prizes sent by ACH bank transfer can take longer, with many players reporting payout times of around 1-5 business days.
Your first redemption may take additional time, since Spindoo requires identity verification before sending prizes. According to the platform, account verification can take up to 48 hours to complete. Once verification is finished, future redemptions are typically processed more quickly.
Spindoo also notes in its sweepstakes rules that redemption requests can take up to about 10 days in some cases, though many players report receiving their prizes earlier.
Before you can redeem Sweeps Coins (SC) for real prizes on Spindoo, there are a few basic requirements to meet. These rules are fairly standard across social and sweepstakes casinos and help ensure that prizes are awarded properly.
Spindoo requires a 1x playthrough on Sweeps Coins before they can be redeemed. In simple terms, any SC you receive must be played through once in eligible games before becoming redeemable.
Until that happens, the coins will remain in your regular balance. Only redeemable SC (not unplayed SC) can be exchanged for prizes.
Spindoo also requires players to verify their identity before requesting their first redemption. This is a standard step used by most social casinos and sweepstakes gaming sites.
To complete verification, you’ll need to upload documents through the My Account section, including:
In some cases, Spindoo may also request a selfie or facial verification to confirm your identity.
Spindoo has relatively low redemption thresholds compared to many sweepstakes casinos. As mentioned earlier, players need at least:
If your balance is below those amounts, you’ll need to continue playing until you reach the required threshold.
There are also a few additional rules and limits worth knowing before submitting a redemption request on Spindoo.
Once your Sweeps Coins are ready to redeem, claiming prizes on Spindoo is a pretty straightforward process.

Pros
Cons
Overall, there isn’t anything especially unusual about the prize redemption process on Spindoo. It’s very similar to what you’ll deal with at most other social and sweepstakes casinos.
The biggest advantage is the low redemption minimum for gift cards, which starts at just 10 SC. That makes it easier to cash out smaller winnings without needing to build up a much larger balance first.
There are a couple of drawbacks to keep in mind, though. Larger payouts (particularly those over $2,500) can take longer to process, and Sweeps Coins expire after 60 days of account inactivity.
That expiration policy isn’t unique to Spindoo, but it does mean you’ll want to log in periodically if you’re holding onto an SC balance.
For the most part, though, redeeming prizes on Spindoo is pretty straightforward and shouldn't be too difficult if you've played at other similar sites before.
Can you redeem prizes on Spindoo without making a purchase?
Yes. You don’t need to buy Gold Coin packages to redeem prizes. Players can start with the Spindoo no-deposit bonus, which includes free Sweeps Coins that can potentially be redeemed once the requirements are met.
Do you need to link a bank account to redeem prizes on Spindoo?
Only if you want to redeem cash prizes through ACH bank transfer. If you choose the PrizeOut gift card option, the reward is delivered by email and doesn’t require a bank account.
Is there a maximum amount you can redeem at once on Spindoo?
Spindoo allows up to $10,000 in total prize redemptions per day for most players. If you’re located in Florida, the limit is $5,000 per day due to state sweepstakes regulations.
What happens after you submit a redemption request?
After submitting a request, Spindoo reviews the redemption to confirm that all requirements have been met. Once approved, the prize is sent using the redemption method you selected.
Do you have to pay taxes on Spindoo prizes?
Yes. Cash prizes redeemed from sweepstakes casinos like Spindoo are generally considered taxable income in the United States, similar to gambling winnings. Players are responsible for reporting those winnings when filing their taxes. If you’re not sure how prizes should be reported, it’s a good idea to talk with a tax professional.
