ClubGG Poker & Casino Review 2026: Expert Ratings & Honest Feedback
Updated August 18, 2026
Updated August 18, 2026
Launched in 2021 by NSUS Group Inc., ClubGG Poker has quickly gained attention in the online poker community as a unique sweepstakes gaming platform.
Developed by the creators of GGPoker, one of the most recognized real-money poker apps, ClubGG offers a free-to-play experience that bridges casual gaming with competitive poker.
As someone who’s spent years reviewing online casinos and mobile poker apps, I decided to sign up at ClubGG and experience the excitement for myself. From creating my own poker club to inviting friends and redeeming real cash prizes, I put the platform to the test and left no stone unturned.
In this in-depth ClubGG Poker review, I'll share my honest thoughts on whether ClubGG is worth your time and explain how it stacks up against the competition. Let's dive in!
– Peyton Powell (Casino Editor at ATS.io)"After my in-depth review of ClubGG Poker, I’d say it’s a solid option if you’re looking for a convenient way to play poker online.
The app lets you set up free games with friends or compete against other users, and the ability to customize game type, format, buy-ins, and more adds a lot of flexibility.
It’s also widely accessible, being available in 40 of the 50 U.S. states and almost all of Canada.
However, there are a few downsides to keep in mind. Without a monthly membership, access to features and tournaments is quite limited.
And while there are a few slots and table games, the selection is minimal and feels more like a secondary feature than a core part of the platform.
That said, if your main focus is poker, ClubGG delivers a great experience and is definitely worth a try!"

Pros
Cons
ClubGG is a free online poker app that lets you create your own poker club (complete with custom ring games and tournaments) and play with your friends whenever you like.
Launched in 2021 by NSUS Group Inc., the same company behind GGPoker—one of the world's leading real-money poker platforms—ClubGG offers a unique twist on the traditional poker experience.
The app works a lot like social and sweepstakes casinos (Chumba, LuckyLand Slots, Pulsz, etc.) in that it operates using two different types of virtual currency: Chips and Live Dollars (L$).
However, the biggest difference between ClubGG Poker and typical sweepstakes casinos is that ClubGG requires a paid membership for full access to its tournaments, premium features, and more ways to earn Live Dollars (L$).
While you can still play poker for free with a basic membership, subscribing to a Standard ($9.99/month) or Platinum ($49.99/month) plan opens up more opportunities to win prizes and unlock exclusive content.
ClubGG Poker doesn’t currently provide a special welcome offer for new players.
This is a bit disappointing, especially considering most other sweepstakes casinos will provide a free no-deposit bonus or 100% match on your first purchase. Unfortunately, that’s not the case here.

However, ClubGG does provide extra value in a few other ways. While there’s no initial bonus, you can still create your own poker club with custom games and tournaments, and play for free with friends.
No purchase is required for this, so it’s a great way to test out the platform without making a financial commitment.
In addition, if you choose to upgrade to a Standard or Platinum membership, you’ll unlock a 20% discount on all purchases in the GG Store. Platinum members also gain access to tiered loyalty bonuses, meaning you’ll be rewarded as you continue to play.
As a free-to-play sweepstakes poker platform, ClubGG doesn't let you make traditional deposits and withdrawals. Instead, it offers Standard ($9.99 per month) and Platinum ($49.99 per month) memberships.
The Standard membership package includes Stage 1 Access (once a day), PokerCraft, Social Casino, Smart HUD, Rabbit Hunt, Splash, River Card Squeeze, a free GG class, and a 20% discount in the GG Store.
The Platinum membership, on the other hand, provides all of the same benefits as the Standard package. However, it also includes unlimited Stage 1 Access, Final Stage Re-Entry, and tiered loyalty bonuses.
Here's a quick breakdown of the different ways you can purchase a subscription on the ClubGG Poker app:
| Payment Method 💳 | Fees 💰 |
|---|---|
| Debit/Credit Cards | None |
| PayPal | None |
| Klarna | None |
| Amazon Pay | None |
| Skrill | None |
| Paysafecard | None |
| Prize Redemption Method 🎁 | Min. Redemption 💵 | Average Payout Time ⏰ |
|---|---|---|
| Debit/Credit Cards | $100 | Within 48 Hours |
| PayPal | $100 | Within 48 Hours |
| Skrill | $100 | Within 48 Hours |
On the other hand, to redeem prizes at ClubGG Poker, you’ll need to have a minimum of 100 Live Dollars (L$100) in your account. Once you reach that threshold, you can redeem your Live Dollars for real cash prizes via PayPal, Skrill, or Credit/Debit at a 1:1 ratio (L$ to USD).
Just remember, your account must be verified before you can complete the redemption process, and it may take up to 48 hours to receive your payment.
Interestingly enough, ClubGG is the first sweepstakes poker platform I've come across that offers a dedicated mobile app for both iOS and Android devices. It's available for free on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, making it easily accessible for anyone who prefers to play on their phone or tablet.
During my review, I gave the ClubGG Poker app a try on my iPhone, and I have to say, I was impressed.
Signing up was quick and simple, and once I got in, everything was well-organized and intuitive. I found it easy to create my own poker club, join live events, and even manage my account settings.
The layout was clean, and navigation was smooth—no lag or confusing menus. The loading times were quick, and overall, it provided a seamless experience.
One downside, however, is that if you're on a laptop or desktop, you can’t just access the platform through your browser. Instead, you have to download the software.
I did test it on my MacBook, and while the setup was straightforward, it wasn’t quite as convenient as being able to play directly in a browser. That said, the app worked great once it was set up, and it gave me a very similar experience to what I found on my mobile device.
Store | Rating Information | Download |

Given the platform's name, it should be no surprise that ClubGG Poker is a pretty good place to play online poker! All players (regardless of their membership level) can create "Clubs" and run their own poker tables.
You can customize the experience by choosing the type of game (No Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha, or 6+ Short Deck Hold'em), format (Ring Game, Sit & Go, Multi-Table Tournament), buy-in, blinds, game length, and much more.
Then, you can invite friends to join your private game or make it open to all other players on the app.
Next, we move on to the different stages of the tournament system: Stage 1, Stage 2, and the Final Stage. These stages feature a wide range of exciting events. If you're a member, you'll be able to compete in these events for real cash prizes.
Not ready to commit to a membership yet? No problem! Keep an eye out for freerolls, where you can register for free and get a feel for the types of tournaments and events ClubGG offers.
Finally, there's a small "Casino" section available to those with a Standard or Platinum membership. Here, you'll find about two dozen slots and a handful of table games (blackjack, baccarat, etc.).
These games are exclusive to ClubGG and were developed in-house, meaning you won’t find them anywhere else. While the selection is on the smaller side, this isn't too surprising given that the platform’s primary focus is on poker.
What’s promising, however, is the “Coming Soon” label under the slot category, which suggests more games will be added in the future.
When it comes to safety and fairness, ClubGG Poker is a 100% legitimate platform you can feel good about using. It's known for its strong focus on providing a secure and enjoyable experience for players, all while staying within the confines of U.S. laws and gaming regulations.
Let’s break down a few key points to answer some common questions about its legitimacy:
ClubGG Poker is not licensed in the conventional sense, as it operates under the framework of sweepstakes gaming rather than real-money gambling. This means it doesn’t require the same licensing as online casinos or poker sites that offer real-money play.
However, the platform complies with sweepstakes laws in the U.S. states where it operates, allowing players to use virtual currency and compete for prizes within the legal boundaries of those regulations.
ClubGG Poker is owned and operated by NSUS Group Inc., a reputable company in the online gaming industry.
NSUS Group is also the owner of GG Poker, one of the largest and most well-known poker platforms in the world. The company’s extensive experience in the iGaming space helps ensure ClubGG Poker operates securely and professionally.
ClubGG Poker is currently legal and accessible in 40 of the 50 U.S. states. The only exceptions are:
It's also available in 12 of the 13 Canadian provinces and territories (all but Quebec).
ClubGG Poker offers a handful of convenient ways to get help from their customer support team.
You can currently reach out via email (support@clubgg.net), submit a contact form through their website or app, or check out their comprehensive FAQ page, which covers everything from memberships and promotions to prize redemptions.
During my review, I submitted a contact form on their website with a question about membership plans, and I included my name, email, and a description of my issue. I was impressed to get a response within about 24 hours, and the reply was clear and helpful.
While I was reasonably happy with the response time at ClubGG Poker, it’s worth noting that live chat and phone support aren’t available at this time. But with the email support and the comprehensive FAQ, most issues can be addressed fairly easily.
Overall, it's a solid support system, though a more immediate option like live chat would be a nice addition.
Wondering how ClubGG Poker compares to other sweepstakes casinos and social poker sites? Well, let's find out! Here's a quick overview of how it stacks up against the competition:
First, let's take a closer look at Global Poker! While both ClubGG and Global Poker are sweepstakes poker sites, there are some key differences between them.
For starters, Global Poker doesn’t have a monthly subscription fee. Instead, players can purchase Gold Coin packages and receive free Sweeps Coins, which are then redeemable for cash prizes (at a ratio of 1.00 SC to $1.00 USD).
In terms of game variety, Global Poker offers a slightly broader selection, including Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, Crazy Pineapple, and several other popular options.
On the other hand, ClubGG sticks to Texas Hold’em, Omaha, and Short Deck Hold’em, which limits your options a bit if you're craving variety.
When it comes to tournaments, ClubGG stands out with a solid lineup of events, including chances to qualify for live poker tournaments. Global Poker, while having tournaments of its own, doesn't offer the same live event qualification opportunities that ClubGG does.
Regarding rake, ClubGG is pretty generous—subscribers don’t pay additional rake beyond the monthly subscription fee. With Global Poker, however, there’s a fixed 5% rake on all games, regardless of whether you’re playing with Gold Coins or Sweeps Coins.
Finally, as far as casino games go, both sites feature slots and table games, but these are secondary to the poker experience. Global Poker offers a slightly better selection in this area, though it still doesn’t focus heavily on non-poker content.
Another popular social poker site is Clubs Poker, and it's very similar to Global Poker (but not so much ClubGG). Like Global Poker, Clubs Poker operates with the Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin model, meaning players can buy Gold Coins and earn Sweeps Coins, which can then be redeemed for cash prizes.
However, unlike ClubGG, which requires a monthly membership fee, Clubs Poker doesn't have this fee, making it more flexible for players who prefer not to commit to a subscription.
Clubs Poker also offers a much wider range of poker games than ClubGG. While ClubGG focuses on Texas Hold'em, Omaha, and Short Deck Hold'em, Clubs Poker adds more variety with games like Stud, Razz, 2-7 Triple Draw, and several others.
In addition to the variety of games, Clubs Poker also offers some great bonuses, like a 100% match on your first purchase, as well as ongoing promotions such as daily login bonuses and freerolls.
ClubGG Poker, on the other hand, has loyalty bonuses but doesn't offer a sign-up bonus or as many promotions for existing users.
In conclusion, ClubGG Poker earns a respectable 3.8-out-of-5.0 rating from me and my team here at ATS.
It's truly a great option for online poker players who want to enjoy customizable games with friends or test their skills against other users. Its user-friendly mobile app also makes it easy to play on the go, and the wide variety of game formats ensures there’s something for everyone.
However, there are a few downsides to keep in mind. To win real cash prizes or access social casino games like slots and table games, you’ll need to pay for a monthly subscription. Without it, your experience on the platform is limited.
Overall, if you're primarily interested in poker and don’t mind the subscription model, ClubGG Poker is definitely worth giving a try.

Are ClubGG and GGPoker the Same?
While both ClubGG and GGPoker are owned by NSUS Group, they are not exactly the same. They share some technology and features but serve different purposes, with GGPoker being a full-fledged poker site that allows real money wagering.
