Carnival Citi is an up-and-coming, U.S. social casino with sweepstakes elements. But is it a legitimate platform that you can trust? And if so, is it worth your time and money? Let's find out! In this article, we'll provide an in-depth review of Carnival Citi Social Casino, exploring what it has to offer and helping you decide if it's the right fit for you!
For this review, I had an opportunity to sign up for Carnival Citi and test the social casino out for myself. And I have to say...I was very impressed with what it had to offer!
A great selection of Vegas-style slots (as well as plenty of table games, video poker variants, and arcade-style fish games), mobile-friendly website, generous welcome offer, and chance to win real cash prizes through sweepstakes-style promotions are just a few of the things that stood out the most to me.
However, it's also important to go over a few of its drawbacks. This includes a $25+ purchase requirement to gain "VIP Access" and unlock all of the casino's games, a lack of a dedicated mobile app for iOS and Android devices, and a $100 minimum for prize redemptions.
Ultimately, whether or not Carnival Citi is the perfect online casino for you will depend on what you value most and the type of gaming experience you're looking for.
That said, if you live in a state where Carnival Citi is not yet available or you're just curious about what other options are out there, then we encourage you to take a look at our list of the best social casinos that pay real money in 2026 to find an option that works even better for you!

Carnival Citi is a social casino with sweepstakes elements. It is owned by Citi Media Tech, LLC (an online gaming company based in Miami, Florida) and was first launched in 2023.
With hundreds of slots and other casino-style games (table games, video poker, etc.), Carnival Citi Social Casino brings the excitement and thrill of Las Vegas to a virtual setting by combining cutting-edge technology with captivating gameplay.
And do you want to know the best part? It's completely free to use; no initial deposit or purchase of any kind is required to participate. Plus, you'll have a chance to win real cash prizes through the online casino's innovative sweepstakes model!
Carnival Citi doesn't work like traditional U.S. online casinos and gambling sites. Instead of wagering actual funds, players use two types of virtual currency: Gold Coins and Sweeps Chips.
Here's a quick breakdown of how they work:
You can earn free Gold Coins and free Sweeps Chips through no-deposit bonuses, daily login rewards, social media giveaways, and other special in-game promotions. In addition, you can purchase Gold Coins at any time, and FREE Sweeps Chips will be awarded as an added bonus!
One thing I really like about Carnival Citi is the generous welcome offer that they provide to all new players! When you sign up today and finish creating an account, you'll instantly receive 10 million free Gold Coins and 5,000 free Sweeps Chips.
That's right! No initial deposit, purchase, or payment of any kind is required. All you have to do is sign up, and you can then start playing all your favorite slots, table games, fish games, and more for a chance to win big.

I had a chance to test out the Carnival Citi No-Deposit Bonus, and I am happy to report that the promotional offer is 100% legitimate. As soon as I completed the registration process, I instantly received the social casino FREE SC bonus as promised!
In addition to the exciting welcome offer for all new players, Carnival Citi is currently the only online social casino to offer live Lucky Draws. Here's a quick breakdown of how this ongoing promotion works:
Since Carnival Citi is a social casino, players cannot make real-money deposits and withdrawals on the platform. However, they will be able to purchase Gold Coins and redeem Sweeps Chips for real cash prizes. Here's a quick breakdown of everything you need to know on the topic:
If you'd like to purchase Gold Coins at Carnival Citi, you can do so using one of the following payment options: debit/credit card (Visa or Mastercard), online banking (via Trustly), or PayPal.
All purchases are instantly processed. This means, that once the transaction has been completed, you will immediately receive your GC and can start playing games without delay.
In addition, most Gold Coin purchases include free Sweeps Coins (i.e., Sweeps Chips) as an added bonus.
On the other hand, once you've won at least 100,000 Sweeps Chips, you will be eligible to request a prize redemption at Carnival Citi Casino via PayPal or online bank transfer.
Sweeps Chips can be exchanged at a rate of 100 SC = $1.00 USD, and you can typically expect the winnings to be delivered to your bank account or PayPal account within 3-5 business days.
It's also important to note that you'll need to verify your account before being eligible to request a prize redemption. To do this, you'll just need to upload a form of photo ID and, in some cases, provide proof of address (e.g., utility bill or bank statement).
Unfortunately, Carnival Citi Social Casino is a web-based platform only and does not currently offer a mobile app for iOS or Android devices.
That said, I had a chance to test out the Carnival Citi website on my iPhone, and I was really impressed with its mobile-friendly design and intuitive user interface. The layout is well-organized, with games neatly categorized into four different categories: Slots, Table Games, Video Poker, and Arcade.
I also like how easy it is to switch between Standard Play for Gold Coins and Promotional Play for Sweeps Chips. Plus, I had no trouble making purchases, redeeming prizes, contacting customer support, and accessing my important account information on the site.
Overall, the Carnival Citi website is very user-friendly and offers a seamless gaming experience. My only minor gripe would be that the load times for the games could be improved slightly, but this doesn't significantly detract from the overall enjoyment.

Carnival Citi currently offers over 200 casino-style games with high-quality graphics and immersive sound effects that are designed to make you feel as if you're right in the middle of a Las Vegas casino! Let's take a closer look at some of the different categories of games you can expect to find:
Like most social casinos and sweepstakes casinos, Carnival Citi offers a slot-centric gaming experience. When you sign up today, you'll get to choose between hundreds of different themed slot games, ranging from classic fruit machines to exciting video slots with bonus rounds and progressive jackpots.
Here are a few of my favorite Carnival Citi slot games that you might want to give a try:
In addition to slots, Carnival Citi offers a solid selection of table games and video poker variants. This includes multiple versions of classic casino games like blackjack, roulette, and baccarat as well as some of the most popular video poker games like Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, and Aces & Faces.
These games provide a refreshing alternative to slots, allowing players to test their skills and strategy against the house for a chance to win big.
Carnival Citi also offers nearly a dozen arcade-style fish games, which combine elements of skill and chance for a unique gaming experience. In these fish games, players use their skills to aim and shoot at a wide range of underwater creatures, each carrying different point values.
Fish games like Mermaid Hunter and Poseidon's Secret especially stand out with their stunning visuals and immersive sound effects. So, if you're looking for something fun and exciting to dive into, Carnival Citi's fish games are the perfect choice!
Before we wrap this section up, it's first important for us to explain that not all games are immediately available when you sign up at Carnival Citi.
A decent amount of games in the following categories:
...can only be played by those who have "VIP Access." To get VIP Access, you'll need to purchase a Coin Package worth $24.99 or more. Otherwise, these games will remain off-limits.
Safety, security, and fairness are three of the most important factors to consider when choosing an online casino.
These three factors ensure that players can enjoy their gaming experience without worrying about their personal information being compromised, their funds being at risk, or the games being rigged against them.
Fortunately, Carnival Citi excels in this particular category, earning a perfect 5/5 rating from me and my team. Allow me to explain why by answering some of the most important questions on the topic!
Yes! Carnival Citi is a legitimate social casino with sweepstakes elements. The online gaming site is completely free to use (although you have the option to make in-game purchases) and gives players an opportunity to win real cash prizes through sweepstakes-style promotions.
Carnival Citi Casino operates under sweepstakes gaming laws and regulations in the U.S., and it ensures transparency and fairness in all its games by using certified random number generators (RNGs).
In addition, the sweepstakes casino employs stringent security measures to safeguard players' personal and financial information, adhering to industry standards to protect user privacy.
With its commitment to legality, fairness, and player security, Carnival Citi stands out as a reputable and trustworthy social casino platform for users to enjoy!
Carnival Citi Social Casino is owned by Citi Media Tech, LLC, which is an up-and-coming online gaming company based in Miami, Florida. While it is relatively new, the company has quickly gained traction in the industry due to its innovative approach and commitment to providing a premium gaming experience in the U.S.
Carnival Citi is legal and available in all 50 U.S. states. However, if you live in one of the following states:
...then you can only play using Gold Coins, not Sweeps Chips (i.e., Sweeps Coins). In other words, you can only play for fun and will not be eligible to participate in any sweepstakes-style promotions for a chance to win real cash prizes.
When it comes to customer service and support, Carnival Citi truly shines! The popular online casino offers assistance 24/7 via live chat, email (support@carnivalciti.com), and phone (1-786-772-1915).
During my review, I tested out the live chat support option and was impressed by the quick response time, receiving assistance in just a few minutes. The support staff was very helpful and answered all questions to my satisfaction in a timely manner.
However, a minor drawback was the absence of a comprehensive FAQ page, which is always a useful resource for quickly finding answers to common queries. Nevertheless, Carnival Citi Casino still earns a stellar 4/5 rating from me and my team!
Now that you've learned all about Carnival Citi, are you wondering how it stacks up against the competition? Well, let's find out!
Here's a quick overview of how the site compares to some of the most popular social casinos and sweepstakes casinos in the United States today:
First up is Stake.us, the U.S. version of the world's most popular crypto casino and sportsbook (Stake.com). While Carnival Citi is known for its fun arcade-style fish games, Stake US takes the lead in most other categories.
For example, Stake.us offers nearly four times as many slot games and also provides access to live dealer games, adding more variety to the gaming experience.
Additionally, Stake.us stands out by allowing players to cash out their winnings in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies, catering to the growing popularity of digital currencies in online gaming.
Another popular social casino is Pulsz, which is owned by Yellow Social Interactive and was first launched back in 2020. Compared to Carnival Citi, Pulsz Casino holds several key advantages.
First, Pulsz Casino has a much better selection of progressive jackpot slots, which helps add to the excitement and gives you a chance to win big with each spin.
In addition, unlike Carnival Citi, Pulsz provides a mobile app for both iOS and Android devices, allowing players to enjoy their favorite games with ease while at home or on the go.
Last but not least, Fortune Coins is one of the top sweepstakes casinos in all of North America, and there really is a lot to like about the platform!
Compared to Carnival Citi Social Casino, Fortune Coins has some clear advantages. Firstly, Fortune Coins is great at giving out bonuses and promotions to its existing players every day, making the gaming experience more exciting.
Plus, Fortune Coins is known for quickly letting players redeem their prizes, ensuring they can enjoy their winnings without any delays. That said, both are great online casinos, and it's clear that you can't go wrong with either option.

Are you ready to sign up and start playing games at Carnival Citi? Just follow the five simple steps outlined below!
After my team's thorough review and getting a chance to test the platform out for myself, I can confidently say that Carnival Citi is a solid option for online casino gaming.
I'm a huge fan of the casino's mobile-friendly website, great selection of games (slots, table games, video poker, etc.), and exciting bonus opportunities for both new and existing players.
Plus, the fact that it's a free-to-play platform that offers real cash prizes through sweepstakes promotions is just icing on the cake!
That said, we'd be lying if we told you that Carnival Citi doesn't have room for improvement. Offering a dedicated mobile app, lowering the prize redemption minimum from 100,000 Sweeps Chips, and getting rid of the purchase requirement for "VIP Access" are just a few things I would like to see happen.
Ultimately, the decision to give Carnival Citi a try boils down to personal preference and priorities. But if you're not completely sold on this particular platform, then feel free to take a look at our list of the best U.S. sweepstakes casinos in 2026, where you'll find plenty of other great options to explore!
