The Chicago Blackhawks travel to Salt Lake City hoping to build on their recent momentum in the Western Conference. The Blackhawks are coming from a thrilling 3-2 overtime win against these very same Mammoth on Monday night and are facing an opponent eager for revenge.
The Utah Mammoth have developed into a highly competitive squad this season, currently sitting at 34-26-5. Clayton Keller continues to lead Utah’s offense with 64 points, alongside Dylan Guenther who just hit the 30-goal milestone, while defenseman Sean Durzi has been a vital part of the blue line in the absence of other key veterans.
Following the overtime win on Monday, the Blackhawks have picked up points in four of their last five games (2-1-2), showing much more resilience as the season progresses.

Pick: Utah Mammoth Moneyline (-165) Confidence: ★★★★☆
Utah thrives on a high-octane offensive transition. Clayton Keller remains the engine of this team, leading in both assists (45) and total points. The Mammoth are 32-8-0 this season when they score three or more goals, making offensive output the primary indicator of their success. Chicago’s biggest weapon remains Connor Bedard, who recently surpassed 60 points on the season. The Blackhawks' penalty kill has been surprisingly elite against Utah, going a perfect 7-for-7 in the season series so far. Worth noting is that Utah is coming off a frustrating 5-0 shutout loss to Minnesota on Tuesday, while Chicago has actually won all three meetings against Utah this season. Despite the head-to-head record, oddsmakers still favor the home side's superior overall depth.
With 73 points, Utah holds a four-point cushion in the Wild Card race. However, they've struggled to beat Chicago all year. To maintain their playoff spot, they must find a way to break through the Blackhawks' defensive structure, which has limited them to just four goals total across three games.
Rookie Frank Nazar is heating up at the right time. After scoring the OT winner on Monday, he is currently on a four-game point streak (2G, 4A). His chemistry with Teuvo Teravainen has given Chicago a much-needed second scoring threat behind Bedard.
Surprisingly, Chicago has taken points in three straight road games. They are playing with a lot of confidence right now, particularly on the penalty kill, where they lead the NHL in efficiency (91.2%) on the road since mid-December.
While Chicago has dominated the season series 3-0, it is incredibly difficult to beat the same team twice in four days, especially on the road. Utah is coming off a humiliating shutout and needs these points desperately for the standings. We're betting on a narrow victory at the Delta Center and that the Mammoth finally gets revenge against the Blackhawks. ATS PROAffiliate DisclosureATS.io uses affiliate links.
