The Anaheim Ducks and Philadelphia Flyers will collide on Tuesday night in the NHL. Anaheim arrives in Philadelphia looking to snap a troubling streak and to get back into a potential playoff spot in the Pacific Division. The Flyers are aiming to continue their strong play on home ice in front of their supporters at Xfinity Mobile Arena. Anaheim enters this game struggling badly, losers of six straight contests and 10 of their last 12 overall. During that span, they have surrendered an average of more than four goals per game, a clear concern as they travel east to face a Flyers club that has been effective at home. Philadelphia has posted a 5-3-2 record over its last 10 games and scored at a 3.4 goals per game clip. The Flyers most recently defeated the Edmonton Oilers on the road and return home trying to take advantage of the recent struggles of the Ducks.
Anaheim’s goaltending has been inconsistent going into this game. Lukas Dostal holds a 3.18 goals‑against average and .887 save percentage. Petr Mrazek’s numbers are even worse, with a 4.07 GAA and .858 SV%. Those numbers suggest that either goaltender could struggle in Philadelphia tonight for the Ducks.
Philly's Dan Vladar has stood tall with a solid 2.39 GAA and .910 SV%, giving his team a dependable anchor in net. This goaltending stability gives the Flyers a clear advantage in a matchup where key saves could determine the outcome.
Former Duck Trevor Zegras has made an impact since joining Philadelphia, leading the team with 15 goals and 24 assists. Owen Tippett and Christian Dvorak add goal threats that can change the game at any moment. For Anaheim, Cutter Gauthier has paced the offense with his 19 goals and 20 assists, but he has struggled to lift the Ducks out of their slump consistently. Leo Carlsson has a team-high 42 points, while Troy Terry has been their top assist producer with 27.

I am going with the Philadelphia Flyers to pick up a win at home over the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night. The Ducks are in a tailspin of late and that should continue here against an opponent that is looking like it might make a surprise run to the playoffs this season. The Ducks should struggle on defense again en route to a win for the Flyers.
