The Seattle Seahawks will take on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX to close out the 2025-26 NFL season. These teams won two very different styles of conference championship games, with the Patriots winning a defensive struggle and the Seahawks winning a shootout. Only one of these teams can win the biggest game of the year in American sports. Who will it be? I try to answer that question below as I make my Seahawks vs Patriots prediction in the moneyline market.
Our Seahawks vs Patriots Moneyline Prediction
Pick: Seahawks Moneyline (-198)

Seahawks vs Patriots Moneyline Odds

Keys to the Game
The defense of the Seahawks will be the key to their success in Super Bowl 60. Seattle had the number one scoring defense in the NFL this season, giving up 17.2 points per game in the regular season. They held the San Francisco 49ers to just six points in the Divisional playoffs, but they struggled on defense against the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship Game. After allowing 27 points in the NFC title game, Seattle needs to be better defensively to get a win on the big stage.
Seattle’s running game will also be a huge key to their chances of winning the Super Bowl. The Seahawks rushed for just 2.9 yards per carry against the Rams in the NFC Championship Game. And while Sam Darnold had a huge game to bail them out, Darnold may not be reliable again here, and the running game would make things much easier on Darnold and Seattle if it is more efficient in Santa Clara.
Drake Maye is one of the biggest keys going into this matchup. Maye had a rough start to his pro career in New England, but has flourished in year one under Mike Vrabel. Maye could very well be named NFL MVP at this year’s NFL Honors before the Super Bowl. But individual accolades aside, this is his first trip to the biggest stage in football. Tom Brady led the Patriots to a win in his Super Bowl debut and Maye doing the same would be another incredible story.
The turnover battle will be a huge key for the Patriots again in the Super Bowl. New England won the turnover battle 2-0 in their AFC Championship Game win over the Denver Broncos. The Pats have forced eight turnovers in three playoffs games so far and have had a positive turnover margin in two of their three playoff games. But all of that will be for naught if Mike Vrabel’s team can’t replicate those performances here.
Seahawks vs Patriots Score Projection
Score Projection: Seahawks 24, Patriots 21
Win Probability: Seahawks 51%, Patriots 49%
This game is going to come down to the final seconds, just like the last Super Bowl meeting between these franchises. This time, I don’t think the Seahawks will make a catastrophic mistake to cost them the title. I’ll take the Seahawks to win this game on the moneyline as the favorite, in what should be a one-possession game.
