The Rams have posted an impressive 11‑4 record as they chase home‑field advantage in the NFC. Los Angeles has averaged over 30 points per game while ranking near the top in total offense and scoring. Their offense is firing on cylinders with quarterback Matthew Stafford leading a pass attack that has been among the league’s best this year. But the Rams blew a huge lead in their last game against the Seattle Seahawks and will need to recover from that disappointment to get a win here.
The Falcons have struggled to find consistency and were officially eliminated from playoff contention for the eighth straight season despite winning their last two games. Recent wins over the Cardinals and Buccaneers offer a bit of hope, but Atlanta remains a long shot against a Rams team that has won most of its games and covers spreads often against inferior opponents.
Stafford remains the key piece of the Rams offense, completing a high percentage of his passes for well over 4,000 yards this season, and delivering 40 touchdowns to just 5 interceptions. His efficiency and experience give Los Angeles a clear advantage at quarterback. On the Falcons side, veteran Kirk Cousins has taken over the quarterback position following the season‑ending injury to Michael Penix Jr., but Atlanta’s offensive output still ranks below league average.
Score Projection: Rams 30 – Falcons 17
Win Probability: Rams 78%, Falcons 22%
This game should go to the Rams on Monday Night Football. The Rams suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Seahawks last week. But they have had some extra time to prepare for this game and should take full advantage of it against Atlanta. Expect the Rams to win by double-digits and to cover the spread on the road.
