The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 15 of the NFL season on Sunday afternoon. The Eagles enter the game with an 8-5 mark but have dropped three straight, including a tight loss to the Chargers last week. The Raiders sit at 2-11, losers of seven consecutive contests, and will start quarterback Kenny Pickett in place of the injured Geno Smith. Can the Raiders pull off an upset against the heavily-favored Eagles? Find out what I think with my Raiders vs Eagles prediction below.

The Eagles aim to end a three-game losing streak in front of their home fans against one of the weakest offensive teams in the league. Philadelphia’s offense, led by Jalen Hurts, has struggled to find rhythm. They have been held to 21 or fewer points in three straight games. The Eagles have the lead in the NFC East coming down the stretch, but they will need to turn things around to avoid being caught by the Dallas Cowboys.
The Raiders’ slide has been tough to watch, with Las Vegas ranking at or near the bottom of the league in scoring offense and rushing stats. Head coach Pete Carroll has also been forced to turn to backup quarterback Kenny Pickett after Geno Smith’s shoulder injury. Pickett’s familiarity with the Eagles from his time with the franchise could add an interesting subplot to this contest, but overall roster limitations leave the Raiders in a difficult spot.
Jalen Hurts has thrown for more than 2,700 yards with 19 touchdowns against six interceptions this season. He has added eight rushing touchdowns, but his recent turnover issues have intensified scrutiny around him as the quarterback of the defending champs. He needs a rebound performance to stabilize Philadelphia’s offense and help them move closer to a division title.
Kenny Pickett steps in for Las Vegas, making his first start for the Raiders. Pickett has looked good in limited action but lacks consistent production without much playing time in his young career. The Eagles’ defense will try to generate pressure and contain Pickett to force him to beat them with long, sustained drives from the pocket.
Score Projection: Philadelphia Eagles 31 – Las Vegas Raiders 13
Win Probability: Philadelphia Eagles 88%, Las Vegas Raiders 12%
The Eagles are struggling lately, but the Raiders are struggling more and are relegated to using a backup quarterback here. I'll go with the Eagles to win and cover the spread in this game, using their familiarity with Pickett to their advantage on defense.
