The Western Conference matchup between the Sacramento Kings and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night is an important one in the group stage of this year's NBA Cup. The Timberwolves got off to a dream start in their NBA Cup campaign and will try to put together another strong performance at home here. Before tip-off from Minneapolis, you can keep reading to get my Kings vs Timberwolves prediction for this one.
Player | Prop |
|---|---|
Anthony Edwards (MIN) | Over 29.5 points |
Zach LaVine (SAC) | Under 21.5 points |
Score Projection: Minnesota Timberwolves 124 – Sacramento Kings 108
Win Probability: Timberwolves 75%, Kings 25%
Only three teams in the NBA have a worse defensive rating than the Sacramento Kings so far this season. Those three teams are the Washington Wizards, Brooklyn Nets, and New Orleans Pelicans. The Kings are entering that conversation of being one of the worst teams in the NBA thanks to their porous defense. They should struggle on defense again tonight and I will take the Wolves to win big in this game to get to 2-0 in the NBA Cup.
