Phoenix Suns vs Dallas Mavericks Prediction - 11/12/2025

The Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks will meet in an interesting game for reasons that live both on and off the court. The Suns arrive in Dallas riding a three‑game winning streak and the Mavericks are mired in a 3‑8 slump and searching for consistency. The mood could still be celebratory in Dallas, though, after the news that GM Nico Harrison has been fired. Before tip-off in Dallas, continue reading to get my Suns vs Mavericks prediction.
Pick: Phoenix Suns +1.5
Confidence: ★★★★☆
The Suns (6‑5) have shaken off a slow start and are building momentum behind an uptick in scoring and improved cohesion. Phoenix is averaging 116.8 points per game and shooting 46.5% from the field. They swept a two-game mini-series with the LA Clippers before beating the New Orleans Pelicans to get three wins in a row. They will try to build on that against a banged-up Mavs team here.
Dallas (3‑8) is struggling to find its identity. Injuries have made it hard for the Mavs to field a competitive team early in the year. But the vibes could still be incredible in American Airlines Center on Wednesday night. The firing of GM Nico Harrison is something that Mavs fans were clamoring for after the Luka Doncic trade last season. Now that the Mavs have opted to ditch Harrison, the fans could be happy in the building during this game despite Dallas' poor record.
Phoenix has suffered a major loss in Jalen Green, who is out for 4‑6 weeks with a re‑aggravated hamstring injury. That removes an offensive weapon from their arsenal. Dallas has Dereck Lively II and Anthony Davis listed as game‑time decisions for this game. It would be huge for the Mavs to get both of them back on the floor, but there is also no guarantee that Davis will stay on the floor given his extensive injury history.
Player | Prop |
|---|---|
Devin Booker (Suns) | Over 28.5 points |
P.J. Washington Jr. (Mavericks) | Under 7.5 rebounds |
Score Projection: Suns 115 – Mavericks 111
Win Probability: Suns 58%, Mavericks 42%
The return of Anthony Davis to the floor for the Mavericks could make Dallas a popular pick going into this game. But I'd tread carefully with Dallas right now, as they could limit Davis' minutes even if he is back on the floor here. I'm going to take the Suns as a slight underdog on the road in this spot, but Mavs fans will be happy regardless of the outcome of this game.
