Key Players
Detroit Pistons
- Cade Cunningham: The centerpiece for Detroit, Cunningham is averaging around 25.1 points, 9.9 assists, and 5.6 rebounds per game this season. Cunningham is leading the Pistons’ offensive rhythm and creating for others. His playmaking is central to Detroit’s success.
- Jalen Duren: A force on the boards, Duren is averaging roughly 10.6 rebounds per game and provides an inside scoring presence. His work on the glass generates extra possessions for Detroit and fuels the transition game.
- Duncan Robinson: Detroit’s role players combine for solid scoring and spacing and the outside shooting by Robinson is a huge reason for the success of that group.
Philadelphia 76ers
- VJ Edgecombe: Leading the 76ers in scoring with about 15.4 points per game, Edgecombe’s all‑around game helps fill the void left by injured scorers. He also contributes rebounds and assists when called upon.
- Quentin Grimes: Averaging around 13.0 points and adding physicality on the wing, Grimes helps inject energy and outside shooting for Philadelphia, though the 76ers remain short on star firepower without their top-three stars.

Final Thoughts
Detroit should have no problem winning straight up against a Sixers team that is missing its three most dangerous offensive weapons. But I'm taking the points with the Sixers here, as they still have some capable offensive weapons like Grimes and Edgecombe who should be able to help them compete, while Andre Drummond won't be completely embarrassing on the glass against Duren.
