The Philadelphia 76ers travel to Cleveland on Monday night for a key Eastern Conference meeting with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Philadelphia enters the game fighting to stay clear of the play-in zone with a 34-29 record, while Cleveland sits comfortably near the top of the conference at 39-24. The Cavaliers have been one of the league’s better home teams, and they will try to overcome playing this 76ers vs Cavaliers contest as the second game of a back-to-back after a blowout loss to the Boston Celtics.
Pick: 76ers +10.5 ATS PRO
Confidence: 2 out of 5
The biggest storyline surrounding this game is Philadelphia’s health. Star guard Tyrese Maxey, who leads the team in scoring, is expected to miss time with a finger injury. His absence removes a major piece of the 76ers' offense and increases the pressure on the rest of the roster to produce. Philly was already without Joel Embiid and Paul George, making this a tough situation for the Sixers across the board.
Cleveland, meanwhile, has surged recently thanks to improved offensive efficiency and strong play at home. The Cavaliers also added scoring depth earlier in the season by trading for James Harden and have received solid production from multiple players during their current stretch of success. But the Cavs were beaten by double-digits by the Celtics on Sunday, struggling to shoot the basketball.

Score Projection: Philadelphia 112 – Cleveland 118 ATS PRO
Win Probability: Philadelphia 38%, Cleveland 62% ATS PRO
Cleveland enters this game with the stronger overall statistical resume and they are the healthier team as well. The Cavaliers have been consistent offensively, move the ball well, and play with confidence at home. But I'm going to take the points with Philadelphia on the road, as they should take advantage of the Cavs being on a back-to-back, while Cleveland could start out slow if they take this game for granted.
