The Los Angeles Lakers will travel to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night. The Lakers are banged up and dealing with the absences of several key players going into this matchup. But Minnesota is also without a major star and both teams will try to overcome their losses to get a key win here. Before tip-off on Wednesday, you can find my Lakers vs Timberwolves prediction below.
Player | Prop |
|---|---|
Austin Reaves (Lakers) | Under 30.5 points |
Julius Randle (Timberwolves) | Under 5.5 assists |
Projected Score: Minnesota Timberwolves 118 – Los Angeles Lakers 110
Win Probability: Timberwolves 58%, Lakers 42%
Both teams are missing their best players going into this game. Even without Anthony Edwards, I think that the Timberwolves' depth advantage elsewhere should give them the upper hand in this game. Look for the Wolves to lock in defensively and for Julius Randle to have a big game with increased usage in Edwards' absence. I'll lay the points with the Timberwolves here, as Austin Reaves won't do enough to get the Lakers a second straight win over Minnesota.
