The Brooklyn Nets head to Philadelphia on Tuesday night to take on the 76ers in an Atlantic Division matchup in the NBA. Brooklyn enters this one with an 8–19 record, coming off a 96–81 victory over the Toronto Raptors. Philadelphia is 16–11 and on a two‑game winning streak, looking to build on their recent hot streak. Before these teams do battle in Philly, you can continue reading to get my Nets vs 76ers prediction.

The 76ers enter this contest with significant momentum, having won two straight games and three of their last four. They most recently dispatched the Dallas Mavericks 121–114 behind a 38‑point explosion from Tyrese Maxey. Maxey has been a consistent player for a Sixers team that needs consistency, shouldering much of the offensive load and emerging as Philadelphia’s leader on both ends of the floor.
Joel Embiid is listed as probable after missing recent games due to an illness and managed knee concerns, a development that should boost Philadelphia’s interior presence and overall depth. Philadelphia’s depth could be tested with VJ Edgecombe, Quentin Grimes, and Dominick Barlow listed as questionable with illnesses. But the team’s ability to adapt and thrive without multiple starters has been encouraging for Sixers backers.
Brooklyn is seeking to build on a solid defensive showing in its win over Toronto, where the Nets limited the Raptors to 81 points and held firm in the fourth quarter. However, injuries continue to plague a Nets side that sees Cam Thomas, Drake Powell, and Haywood Highsmith unavailable. Brooklyn’s inconsistency has been apparent, with an 8–19 record and difficulties scoring and defending against elite offensive teams.
Player | Prop |
|---|---|
Tyrese Maxey | Over 27.5 Points |
Joel Embiid | Over 7.5 Rebounds |
Score Projection: Nets 105 – 76ers 121
Win Probability: Nets 22%, 76ers 78%
I'm going to lay the points with the 76ers in this matchup with the Brooklyn Nets. Philly is playing some better basketball of late and they should continue to do so as long as Embiid and George are able to go here. Look for the Sxiers to control this contest and to head into the holiday break on a high note from the city of brotherly love.
