The Brooklyn Nets will host the Atlanta Hawks at Barclays Center on Wednesday night in the NBA. The early portion of the 2025-26 season hasn’t gone smoothly for either of these teams. These teams are both playing basketball that can best be described as consistently inconsistent early in the season. Atlanta should be able to get back into the win column on the road here, as the Nets do look like one of the worst teams in the NBA this year. But I am going to take the points with the Nets, as the Hawks have proven that they are not built to cover point spreads as a favorite early in the year.
