Navy and Temple will do battle in the American Athletic Conference on Saturday afternoon. Navy is undefeated at 5-0 this season and they have an explosive offense so far this year. They will try to use that offense to get a sixth straight victory here. Before kickoff from Philadelphia, continue reading to get my Navy vs Temple prediction.
Betting Odds | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
Navy | -10 | -360 | Over 52.5 |
Temple | +10 | +280 | Under 52.5 |
Blake Horvath (Navy): Horvath has been a dual-threat, accumulating 839 passing yards and 485 rushing yards this season. His ability to run the option but still throw the football occasionally is incredible to watch.
Evan Simon (Temple): Simon has been efficient, throwing for 805 yards and 12 touchdowns. He has yet to throw an interception and his ability to avoid turnovers and manage the game will be key for Temple to stay competitive.
Score Projection: Navy 38 – Temple 24
Win Probability: Navy 75%, Temple 25%
Navy's offense has been incredible so far this year, with Horvath leading the way. I think that the Midshipmen will keep things rolling in this contest. They will cover the spread in a double-digit win that will push them to 6-0 on the year and 4-0 in conference play already.
