Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|
WKU −9.5 | WKU −340 / FIU +270 | 56.5 |
On FIU’s side, Keyone Jenkins has completed around 63% of his passes, totaling 775 yards, two touchdowns, and four interceptions. He’s also added four rushing touchdowns. But Jenkins needs to be more efficient through the air for FIU to have a chance in this matchup.
For Western Kentucky, Maverick McIvor is performing efficiently. He has 1,704 passing yards, 12 TDs, and just two interceptions. He has weapons like Matthew Henry (21 catches, 377 yards, 3 touchdowns) to rely on. McIvor has lived up to the hype and he is expected to give his team the advantage in this matchup.
Score Projection: FIU 20 – WKU 34
Win Probability: FIU 23%, WKU 77%
Western Kentucky has a pretty clear advantage going into this matchup against FIU. The Hilltoppers have a prolific passing attack that should allow them to create separation early in this game and maintain it throughout. I'll lay the points with Western Kentucky here, as they should win by double-digits and remain undefeated in Conference USA play. FIU will drop to 0-2 in Conference USA play after losing by 22 points to Delaware in their CUSA opener.
