Key Storylines
- Arkansas holds one of the best home records in the SEC at 15-1 on the season so far, which has helped them remain among the elite teams in the conference this year.
- Texas A&M has rebounded recently after a challenging stretch and is trying to solidify its NCAA Tournament credentials in Bucky McMillan’s first season at the helm. The Aggies have won two straight games and a third consecutive win would be huge for them.
Key Players
Arkansas Razorbacks
- Darius Acuff Jr. – Acuff leads Arkansas with around 22.2 points per game, also contributing over six assists per contest. His scoring burst of 49 points in a recent SEC game against Alabama highlights his ability to take over offensively and makes him a central figure in Arkansas’ attack.
- Meleek Thomas – Thomas brings additional scoring, averaging around the mid‑teens in points while offering strong rebounding and efficiency from the field, often keeping Arkansas in offensive rhythm.
- Billy Richmond III – Richmond recently scored 21 points in Arkansas’ win over Missouri, providing timely scoring that complements Acuff and Thomas and helps the Razorbacks maintain balance on offense.
Texas A&M Aggies
- Rashaun Agee – A consistent performer for the Aggies, Agee averages 14 points and nearly nine rebounds per game, anchoring the frontcourt and providing toughness on both ends of the floor.
- Rylan Griffen – Griffen has been a reliable scorer for A&M, especially over the last stretch of games, averaging just under 12 points and offering versatility as a playmaker. Here, he takes on his former team in the Crimson Tide.

Final Thoughts
This SEC matchup favors Arkansas at home with its efficient offense and consistent production from its key contributors. Texas A&M can keep things competitive, particularly with strong rebounding and its inside presence, but the Razorbacks’ shooting and ability to punish teams in Fayetteville should be the difference. I am going to lay the points with the Razorbacks on Wednesday night with that home-court advantage in mind.
