The Providence Friars (2-1) and Colorado Buffaloes (2-0) will battle in Boulder on Friday night. Providence is on the road for the first time this season and they will try to pass a test against a power conference team for the first time this year, while Colorado looks to stay unbeaten after a couple of close calls. Before tip-off from Boulder, you can find my Providence vs Colorado prediction below.
Pick: Providence Friars ML
Confidence: 3/5
Score Projection: Providence 72 – Colorado 69
Win Probability: Providence 55%, Colorado 45%
Oddsmakers expect a tight game between the Friars and Buffaloes and I'm inclined to agree with that assessment. But I do think that Providence will get a win in their first road game of the 2025-26 season. Colorado has looked thoroughly unimpressive against a couple of opponents from the Big Sky to begin this year. They should flounder against a Big East team in this game, while Providence improves to 3-1 early in the season.
