The Butler Bulldogs will face the Seton Hall Pirates in a Big East matchup on Saturday afternoon. Butler enters this contest struggling, having dropped four consecutive games, while Seton Hall has carved out a 14-3 overall record and shown why it’s ranked inside the top 25. With the Pirates favored at home, I break down all the action and give you my Butler vs Seton Hall prediction before the action begins in Newark.
Pick: | Seton Hall -6.5 ATS PRO |
Confidence: | 3/5 |
Score Projection: Butler 68 – Seton Hall 76 ATS PRO
Win Probability: Butler 27%, Seton Hall 73% ATS PRO
My recommendation for this game is for Seton Hall to win the game and cover the spread. The Pirates are not one of the more explosive offensive teams in college basketball. But they are going to bludgeon their opponents with their defense and physicality night in and night out. They should wear down the Butler Bulldogs in this game and win by close to double-digits, covering the number as the Pirates rebound nicely from their loss to UConn last time out.
