Lynx vs Fever Betting Pick
This game will be played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse at 7:00 PM ET on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
Why Bet The Fever:
✅ The offense of the Minnesota Lynx has really struggled early this season, which will cost them once again in this game. Minnesota has averaged just 70 points per game through two games this season, and the Fever should be able to get enough stops against their lacking backcourt to pick up their first victory of this season.
✅ Indiana, despite being the worst team in the league last year, has looked very respectable so far this season. They have played a tough schedule against the Mystics and Sparks, but nearly beat the Sparks on their home floor over the weekend. In their best chance to pick up a win so far this year, expect the Fever to capitalize.

✅ Rookies Destanni Henderson and NaLyssa Smith combined to score 32 points for the Fever over the weekend against the Sparks. They have been aggressive out of the gate, and combine nicely with Kelsey Mitchell. While the Fever will have their hands full with Sylvia Fowles here, the guard combo of Henderson and Mitchell should give the Fever what they need to win.
Minnesota Lynx
The Minnesota Lynx have had a disappointing start to the 2022 WNBA season, as they have gone 0-2 with two double digit losses to kick off the year. The Lynx were blown out in the second half by the Seattle Storm in their season opener, before getting run out of the gym in the first half against the Washington Mystics on Sunday. While the Lynx enter as favorites against the Fever, they need more from their perimeter players to get into the win column here.
So far this season, no player on the Lynx is averaging 15 points per game, with Fowles being the closest to hitting that mark at 14.5 points per game. Minnesota opted to get rid of Crystal Dangerfield and Layshia Clarendon before the start of the season, but they have not had much production from their guards to justify those personnel moves yet.
Indiana Fever
The Indiana Fever were expected to be among the worst teams in the WNBA this season, and they have lived up to that expectation from a record standpoint so far. They have gone 0-2 to start the year, dropping games to the Washington Mystics and Los Angeles Sparks to kick off their campaign. But the Fever have shown some fight early in the season, and may be in a position to get a win here.
If the Fever are going to win this game, they are going to need the duo of Destanni Henderson and Kelsey Mitchell to continue to play at a high level together. Against a Lynx team that is severely lacking in guard quality, the Fever guards have a real opportunity to set themselves apart from their opponents here. If they can do that, the Fever could drop the Lynx to 0-3 while picking up their first win in the process.
