The group stage of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations comes to an end Tuesday with many questions still to be answered. How will Group E shape out? How about Group F? Who will grab the four top third place spots and advance to the knockout stages? All three of those questions will be answered at the end of the day Tuesday.

Group E comes to an end with Mali vs Angola and Tunisia vs Mauritania. Group E standings through two games is: Mail – 4 points, Tunisia – 2 points, Angola – 2 points and Mauritania – 1 point.

Group F comes to an end with Cameroon vs Benin and Ghana vs Guinea Bissau. Group F standings through two games is: Cameroon – 4 points, Ghana – 2 points, Benin – 2 points, Guinea Bissau – 1 point.

Here are my picks for Tuesday’s Africa Cup of Nations games.

Cameroon (-125) vs Benin (+375): Draw (+229)

Cameroon has looked unimpressive in their first two games of the 2019 AFCON and will need to pick things up if they want to hoist the trophy in 11 days. Cameroon opened their campaign with a 2-0 win over Guinea Bissau before playing to a 0-0 draw over Ghana. Cameroon should advance to the knockout stage regardless of the result Tuesday.

Benin have been impressive so far this tournament, but have no wins to show for it and they now need a win if they want to get to the knockout stages. Benin opened up their AFCON campaign with a 2-2 draw against Ghana before playing to a 0-0 draw against Guinea Bissau in their second game.

Cameroon gets the win.

The two nations have met two times in the past and Cameroon has come away with two victories. The two have not met since 2005.

Ghana (-227) vs Guinea Bissau (+700): Draw (+300)

Ghana have looked far from impressive in their first two 2019 AFCON games, but a win Tuesday will see them through to the knockout stage. Ghana started their tournament with a 2-2 draw against Benin before drawing 0-0 with Cameroon.

Guinea Bissau need a win Tuesday if they want any chance of making the knockout stages in this tournament. The small nation has lost 2-0 to Cameroon and drew Benin 0-0.

Ghana gets the win.

These two nations have never met before.

Mali (+110) vs Angola (+300): Draw (+200)

Mali, the Group E leaders, need just one point to ensure their spot in the Round of 16 as they prepare for their final group stage game. Mali beat Mauritania 4-1 and drew Tunisia 1-1 so far this tournament.

Angola need a win Tuesday if they have any hope of getting into the knockout stage and they face a stern test. Angola has drawn Tunisia 1-1 and drew Mauritania 0-0 so far this tournament.

Mali gets the win.

These two nations have met two times and Mali holds a 1-1-0 advantage. The two have not met since the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations when the two played to a 4-4 draw.

Tunisia (-189) vs Mauritania (+600): Draw (+275)

Tunisia need to get a win Tuesday to feel comfortable about their knockout stage hopes and they could not have asked for a better opponent. Tunisia has played to a couple 1-1 draws, against Angola and Mali, so far this tournament.

Mauritania opened their AFCON campaign with a 4-1 loss to Mali, but battle to a 0-0 draw against Angola to keep their knockout stage dreams slight alive.

I like this one to end with a Tunisia win.

The two nations have met five times in the past and Tunisia leads 4-1-0. The two met in a friendly in 2016 and played to a 0-0 draw.
