This series got off to an electric start in Calgaryโs 9-6 win in game one. The Flames scored three goals in each period, and led 5-1 early in the second, but the Oilers fought back to tie the game up at six early in the third period. Ultimately, it was not enough as Calgary scored the final three goals of the game. Matthew Tkachuk had a hat trick for the Flames and Zach Hyman scored two for Edmonton.
