Steelers vs Bears
Don’t look now, but the Steelers are in sole possession of 2nd place in the AFC North entering this home game. After a shaky 1-3 start to the season, they are now on a three game winning streak. There have been two big changes propelling the team. The first is a now massive workload for rookie running back Najee Harris. The second is much improved play from the defense. Harris has been chewing up yardage and the team has allowed just 16.7 points per game on the winning streak. On the other side of the coin, the Bears are on a three game losing streak. Rookie quarterback Justin Fields has shown some improvement, but this is still going to be a difficult road spot for him.

Steelers vs Bears Player Prop Pick: Najee Harris Over 79.5 Rushing Yards
✅ At just the midpoint of his rookie season, Najee Harris already has a premier role. It is perhaps the most important running back role of any team in the league. He is simply already dominating team touches and rewarding the team for the trust. After seeing what otherwise might seem like a high volume of touches in the team’s first four games, the flood gates have now opened. Harris has seen 23 or more carries in each of the last three games. He has rushed for at least 83 yards in all three of those games. Not coincidentally, that coincides with the three game win streak.
✅ The Steeler defense should be a true help for Harris in this matchup. Rookie quarterback Justin Fields has certainly had no shortage of struggles. The Bears last three games have all been losses. Fields has certainly contributed to those losses. He has not thrown for even 200 yards in any of those games, but has thrown five interceptions. This matchup with the Steelers is the most difficult of the stretch. His inability to put points on the board will help the Steelers run the ball as often as they’d like.
✅ We saw Eli Mitchell scorch the Bears on the ground last week. He went for 137 rushing yards on 18 carries. The previous two games saw Leonard Fournette and Aaron Jones to 81 and 76 yard outputs on just 15 carries. AJ Dillion added 59 yards on 11 carries and Ronald Jones added 63 yards on 10 carries in those games. Needless to say, Harris projects for the largest amount of volume of any player yet. That will translate to plenty of yards against a Chicago front that has faded as the season has progressed.
