After a roller coaster first half of the season, the Denver Broncos have a winning record at 5-4 in a hyper-competitive AFC West. In a much less competitive NFC East, the Philadelphia Eagles have struggled mightily this season and have virtually no hope of catching up to the Dallas Cowboys. This week, Philadelphia and Denver will play at Mile High, with our NFL picks detailing this Eagles vs Broncos matchup as both teams hunt for momentum to start the second half of the year.

Why Bet The Eagles vs Broncos Under:
✅ Denver and high scoring games have not been synonymous this season. Despite stacking up wins over dismal opponents like the Jets, Jaguars and Giants on the year, Denver is averaging under 21 points per game on the year. At home, the Broncos should be involved in another low-scoring outing here.
✅ Jalen Hurts still has under 2,000 passing yards through nine games this season. He is on pace for well under 4,000 yards and he has simply not progressed at the quarterback position the way the Eagles had hoped this year. His struggles putting the ball in the air will help the under in a big way.

✅ Broncos games have gone under the total seven times out of nine this season. At home, Broncos games have gone under three out of four times, as points have been hard to come by in the thin air at Mile High.
Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles enter this game at 3-6 on the season, and are coming off of a loss last week against the Los Angeles Chargers. In the 27-24 defeat, the Eagles were outgained by just over 110 yards and lost the time of possession battle by seven minutes to the Chargers. Against a Broncos team loaded with weapons, the Eagles will need to do a better job of locking in defensively to prevent a second straight loss to an AFC West foe.
Philadelphia will also need a lot more from Jalen Hurts if they are going to come away with the victory on the road this week. Hurts is the team’s leading rusher to go with his 1,981 passing yards. But that is more of a reflection on the Eagles’ refusal to run the ball consistently than it is a testament to Hurts’ effectiveness in the running game. Hurts has been very disappointing this season, and has to turn it around if the Eagles are going to turn their season around.
Denver Broncos
Last week, the Denver Broncos pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the season in the NFL, beating the Dallas Cowboys outright in Dallas. Denver entered that game as a 10-point underdog, but they scored the first 30 points of the game and were never really challenged. It was the defense of the Broncos that stood out, as they held Dak Prescott under 100 passing yards deep into the second half.
This week, the Broncos face a much simpler test for their defense, as they are tasked with slowing down a team led by a quarterback much worse than Prescott. But the Broncos showed last week that any team can win anytime and anywhere in the NFL. That first hand experience with an upset will serve as an important reminder that their opponent cannot be taken lightly.
