Why Bet The Jets vs Dolphins Over:
✅ The Miami Dolphins have played well offensively as of late, with Tua Tagovailoa’s connection with Jaylen Waddle being a big reason why. This week, Miami comes off its bye to face a Jets team that is dead last in yards per play allowed for the season. Expect offensive fireworks from Miami to pace the over in this matchup.
✅ Over their last two games, the Jets have allowed 31.5 points per game, against offenses that are far from stellar. The Eagles and Saints were both using backup quarterbacks in their games against the Jets, and still managed to score at will on the New York defense over their last couple of outings. Expect the Dolphins to do the same, helping the game get over the total.

✅ In their first meeting of this season, the Jets did score 17 points against the Dolphins in a 24-17 loss. While that combined score wasn’t enough to reach this total, this game taking place in Miami should result in better production from the Dolphins in better weather and a less hostile environment.
New York Jets
The New York Jets have officially been eliminated from playoff contention, dropping a 30-9 game to the New Orleans Saints last week. Despite the limitations of Taysom Hill in the passing game for the Saints, the Jets let Alvin Kamara go off for New Orleans. This week, the Jets will hope for a better defensive performance against the Dolphins, after giving up 30 or more points for the second straight week.
Not helping matters is the fact that the Jets simply cannot put points on the board on a regular basis. The Jets have scored 20 or more points just once in their last five games, with that performance coming against the lowly Houston Texans. Here, the Jets have to score in the 20s just to have a shot against a potent Dolphins offense.
Miami Dolphins
Miami comes into this game having won five straight games, going from 1-7 on the year to 6-7 and a possible playoff contender. This week, the Dolphins look for their sixth straight win against a struggling division rival in the Jets. But the question for the Dolphins will be how much production they can get out of COVID-riddled backfield.
Multiple running backs are on the reserve/COVID-19 list for the Dolphins heading into this week, including Myles Gaskin. That could put more pressure on Tua Tagovailoa and the passing attack to work their magic, though it remains to be seen which running backs will be able to go for Miami in this matchup.
