This game will be played at Lumen Field at 4:25 PM ET on Sunday, October 30, 2022.
Why Bet The Giants:
✅ This is a favorable matchup for the Giants based on the way they like to play offensively. The Giants lead the league in rushing yards per game, averaging 173.4 yards per game on the ground thus far. They face a Seattle defense that has allowed 149.7 rushing yards per game, ranking 29th in the league in that department. Expect the Giants to control the game on the ground to cover the number in this contest.

✅ The Giants have taken huge steps forward in terms of avoiding turnovers this season. They are tied for the fourth fewest turnovers in the NFL this season, coughing up the ball just six times on the year. Their improvement in this area has had a direct correlation to their improvement in the win column in 2022, and they could very well win this game outright by continuing to protect the football.
✅ The Giants are 6-1 against the spread this season, putting them in a tie with the Atlanta Falcons for the best ATS record in the NFL this season. New York only failed to cover in Week 3 against the Dallas Cowboys, who have arguably the best defense in the NFL. Expect the Giants to take care of business against the spread against here.
New York Giants
The New York Giants won as an underdog in Jacksonville in Week 7, beating the Jaguars 23-17. New York’s NFC representatives got a late rushing touchdown from Daniel Jones to take the lead, which they did not relinquish. Here, the Giants aim for a 7-1 start, as they face a Seattle team that is also playing at a high level.
For the Giants, slowing down Geno Smith will be the key to this contest in the Pacific Northwest. The Giants rank 14th in the league in passing yardage allowed per game. They will hope that their familiarity with Geno Smith from his time as a Giant will help them to slow him down on Sunday.
Seattle Seahawks
For the Seattle Seahawks, last week was a huge success, as they beat the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium. Seattle’s offense continue to roll with Geno Smith at the helm, as Smith threw two touchdown passes and led his offense to a win over Justin Herbert and the Chargers. This week, the Seahawks will face a tougher defense in that of the Giants, as they hope to keep things going with their offense.
A gigantic positive for Pete Carroll’s team has been the emergence of Kenneth Walker III. With Rashaad Penny done for the season due to injury, Walker has seen his usage increase in recent weeks. He has responded well to that challenge, including a Week 7 performance where he ran for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Against a subpar Giants run defense, Walker could be the key to this game for Seattle.
