Teams Last 10
This game will be played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at 9:30 AM ET on Sunday, October 9, 2022.
Why Bet The Packers:
✅ The Packers struggled to create separation on the scoreboard against the Patriots last week despite Bailey Zappe playing the bulk of the game at quarterback for the Patriots. But the Packers dominated that game statistically and held Zappe to 99 passing yards, while the score was closer than normal thanks to a fluke pick-six from Aaron Rodgers. A similar performance will get the Packers a cover as a 7.5-point favorite here.

✅ The Giants are running a gimmick offense at this point in time, as their offensive production consisted of Daniel Jones touchdown runs and field goals against the Bears last week. Now, Jones has an ankle injury and is questionable to go for the Giants this week. Even if he does play, an injured ankle will limit his mobility and slow down an already unimpressive New York offense.
✅ The Giants are 3-1 this season, the same record as the Packers. But their wins have come against a struggling Titans team, a Panthers team that is struggling even more, and a Bears team that does not appear interested in utilizing the forward pass. This is a huge step up in weight class for the Giants, and it will not go well for them.
New York Giants
Through four weeks, the New York Giants are an improbable 3-1. They have taken advantage of one of the softest schedules in the NFL to get there, beating the Titans, Panthers, and Bears to reach the 3-1 mark. But they face a much tougher test this week, against a Packers team that is sound on both sides of the ball and, of course, has one of the best quarterbacks in the history of the league in Aaron Rodgers.
The health of Daniel Jones will be the focus for the Giants in this contest, as he is questionable with an ankle injury. If he can play, he may not be as capable of hurting teams with his legs as he has been over the last couple of weeks. That could spell disaster for a Giants team that lacks wide receiver weapons and has to keep the ball on the ground to have success.
Green Bay Packers
It was not easy, but the Green Bay Packers survived as a huge favorite against the New England Patriots in Week 4. They trailed for much of the game, but got the plays they needed from Aaron Rodgers down the stretch, and played solid defense against Bailey Zappe when they needed to. Now, the Packers head to London looking to beat a very beatable Giants team to get to 4-1 despite a less than perfect start to the year.
For the Packers, stopping the run is going to be the key to their success in this Giants vs Packers contest. The Giants will look very similar offensively to the Patriots last week, as their game plan will revolve around running the ball to make up for a lackluster passing attack. If Green Bay can slow down Saquon Barkley, they will force the Giants to put the ball in the air in long yardage situations that they simply are not equipped to throw their way out of.
