Key Storylines
The Giants are enduring a rough season and have lost three games in a row coming into this contest. Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart had 191 passing yards and rushed for 56 yards with a touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers last week. But the Giants surrendered 221 passing yards and 159 rushing yards in that outing and need to be better on both sides of the ball.
The Bears are winners of four of their last five games. They are coming off a thrilling 47-42 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on the road. Chicago was without D’Andre Swift last week but got a huge game out of rookie Kyle Monangai out of Rutgers against Cincinnati. The depth of the Bears on offense has been impressive and could help them get a win here as well.
Quarterback Play
Jaxson Dart has 1,175 passing yards, 10 touchdowns, and four rushing touchdowns this season. It looks like he has a bright future ahead of him in this league but it is hard to tell when the roster around him still has so many flaws. Caleb Williams returned to form last week with 280 passing yards and three passing touchdowns in the win over the Bengals. Williams has a total of 1,916 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, and four interceptions on the season.

Final Thoughts
Chicago is operating at a high level offensively right now. Their defensive performance against the Bengals was alarming last week. But it’s worth remembering that the Bengals’ receiving corps is among the best in the NFL even if Joe Burrow isn’t healthy to throw the ball to their weapons. The Giants don’t have that kind of skill position talent with Malik Nabers out for the season. I’ll lay the points with Chicago at home here, as the Giants should drop to 0-6 on the road for the season.
