Why Bet The Saints:
✅ Washington is 2-2 this season, with the same record as the Saints. But Washington’s wins have come against two of the worst teams in the league in the Giants and Falcons, with the win over the Giants coming thanks to a fortunate offside call on a missed field goal as time expired. The Saints have shown a much higher upside and are the better bet here.
✅ New Orleans should come into this game with plenty of focus, thanks to their loss to the Giants last week at home. While teams may tend to let down on the road after a home game, that is not the case when they just suffered an embarrassing loss. Expect the Saints to come out and rectify some of the mistakes they made last week.

✅ New Orleans has already won against an opponent in the northeast on the road this season. They beat the New England Patriots on the road in Week 3, after suffering an embarrassing loss to the Carolina Panthers. They will do the same here against the Football Team.
New Orleans Saints
Last week was a disaster for the New Orleans Saints, as they blew an opportunity to move to 3-1 on the year by blowing a lead to the New York Giants. The Saints lost to the Giants in overtime, giving up a touchdown to Saquon Barkley in the overtime period to bring them back to .500. Against a Giants team that had been struggling on offense this year, the Saints struggled to contain the New York offense.
Specifically, the Saints struggled to slow down the passing game of the Giants last week. Daniel Jones threw for over 400 yards against the Saints on Sunday, over 100 of which went to Kenny Golladay. While Washington isn’t known for having a devastating passing attack, they have shown some signs of life against the Giants earlier this season, and the Saints will have to be better defensively to stop them.
Washington Football Team
The Washington Football Team managed to escape Atlanta with a win over the Falcons last week in a high-scoring affair. Despite giving up four touchdowns to Matt Ryan, the Football Team made the big plays down the stretch that were required to pick up the victory. This week, though, the Football Team will face a much tougher defense than the one they faced against Atlanta.
So far this season, Washington has beaten the teams they were favored against but struggled against superior competition. Their two wins this season have come against the lowly Giants and Falcons, while their losses came against the Chargers and Bills. With New Orleans expected to be superior to the Football Team coming into this season, it will be interesting to see if that trend continues.
