The Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Indiana to take on the Indianapolis Colts to conclude Week 12 of this NFL season on Monday night. The oddsmakers concur with most that this should be a close game between two subpar teams. The Colts are set as 2.5 point favorites at home.

Why Bet The Harris Over
✅ The Steelers have had a resurgent commitment to the run in recent games. More specifically a commitment to their top running back in Najee Harris. In the Steelers first eight games, Harris saw 20 or more carries exactly zero times. They have finally realized the error of their ways and remedied that in recent weeks. Harris has 20 carries in consecutive games, and not surprisingly, has his two largest rushing outputs of the season. After not eclipsing 74 rushing yards in any of the first eight games, Harris has at least 90 in the last two.
✅ A small part of Harris’ issues early in the season was the presence of Jaylen Warren. The Steelers used him as a frequent change of pace option, and it hampered the Harris workload. Warren was injured early in the game last week and Harris handled 100% of the running back touches from that point forward. Harris, primed for every carry in a middling matchup should once again hit that 20 carry mark and cruise over 63.5 yards.

Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are currently in the cellar of the AFC North division at 3-7. Their defense has not been the side of the football that has let them down this season, but instead their offense. Only the Broncos have scored fewer points amongst AFC teams on the season. With that said, the Steelers are getting back to what has worked for them in years past and running the football. While it is probably too little too late for this season, the young offense will likely be better over the second half of this season.
Indianapolis Colts
The Colts are also a team that has struggled through the first half of the season and beyond. They have not quite had the same struggles as the Steelers at 4-6-1, but they are a distant second in the AFC South. Even with a win on Monday Night, they would still trail the Titans by 2.5 games. The Colts have seen a renewed commitment to the run with Jeff Saturday taking over as head coach. With that in common with the Steelers and an expected close game, we will see both teams try to dictate the game on the ground.
