The Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have both won recent Super Bowls and met in a classic game in last year’s postseason. But they are both struggling this season, and are in danger of missing the postseason if their second half of the season is not better than the first. In our NFL picks for Sunday, we take a closer look at Rams vs Buccaneers in one of just two games in the late afternoon window.

Rams vs Buccaneers Betting Pick
This game will be played at Raymond James Stadium at 4:25 PM ET on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
Why Bet The Under:
✅ The offenses of these two teams have, for lack of a better term, stunk this season. Both teams are in the bottom half of the league in yards per play on offense, and both are 25th or worse in the league in points per game. The reputation of these teams is that they are explosive, but that has been anything but the case in 2022.
✅ While the offenses of these two teams have been terrible, their defenses have been respectable. That is especially true of the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay is tied for sixth in the NFL in scoring defense this season. They will likely continue to make things tough on Matthew Stafford and the Rams offense on Sunday afternoon.

✅ Unsurprisingly, these teams have been under machines so far this season. The Rams have had five of their seven games go under the total. The Buccaneers have had six of their eight games go under the total as well. Banking on those trends to continue is the way to go in this marquee matchup.
Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams were beaten by the San Francisco 49ers in Week 8. That was the second loss for the Rams against the Niners this season, as they were swept by their division rivals in the regular season for the second straight year. But unlike last year, it does not look like the Rams have the quality to get revenge in the NFC Championship Game this time around.
This week, the questions about how the Rams will generate offense remain. Los Angeles’ NFC team has the fifth-worst scoring offense in the NFL this season. That has a lot to do with a lackluster running game, which will need to find some sort of traction to get things moving for Sean McVay’s team.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost at home on Thursday Night Football in Week 8, faltering in the second half against the Baltimore Ravens. Once again, Tom Brady and the Buccaneers offense was just not good enough in that contest. Here, the Bucs face a less threatening offense than they did last Thursday, but the question is whether or not they can generate enough offense themselves for that to matter.
This season, Tom Brady is averaging fewer yards per pass attempt than quarterbacks such as Matt Ryan, Mac Jones, and Zach Wilson. He has only thrown one interception this year, but he has resembled a game manager more than a game winner this season. He will need to look more like his old self to help the Bucs win here and get back atop the NFC South.
