Rams vs Buccaneers Betting Pick
This game will be played at 3:00 PM ET at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, January 23, 2022.
Why Bet The Rams:
✅ The Buccaneers had an easy victory over the Eagles last week, but they benefited from three Eagles turnovers that made the game more lopsided than it really was. The Bucs averaged under five yards per play against the Eagles, and face a better defense here in that of the Rams.
✅ Los Angeles, meanwhile, averaged 6.6 yards per play against the Cardinals in the Wild Card round. They are operating at a higher level offensively of late, against better competition, and they should be able to come away with a cover in this game if not an outright victory against the defending champions.

✅ The Rams held the Cardinals to 183 total yards of offense on Monday in the Wild Card round. They are likely to give up more against the Bucs, but the Rams might have the best defense remaining in the NFC and should be able to keep Tampa Bay in check in this contest.
Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams played a near-perfect game last time out, beating the Arizona Cardinals 34-11 at home. Los Angeles scored the first 28 points of the game, locking down Kyler Murray for the majority of the game at the same time. Now, the Rams will look to advance past the hurdle they fell at in last year’s postseason when they fell to the Packers in the Divisional round.
For the Rams to do that, they are going to need the exact same kind of performance they got out of Matt Stafford against the Cardinals. Stafford didn’t have a huge game statistically, but he avoided turning the ball over and kept the offense moving early in the game when things were still in question. If he can do that against the Bucs, the defense of the Rams could take the game over and help Sean McVay’s team make it to another NFC title game.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers dominated the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday to advance to the second round of the playoffs in the NFC. The Bucs forced three Eagles turnovers and held them to just 14 first downs for the game in a 31-15 victory. This week, things will get more challenging for the Buccaneers, as they are tasked with taking on a tougher opponent in the Rams, who beat the Bucs in the regular season.
Tampa Bay lost 34-24 on the road against the Rams earlier this season, in a game where Stafford threw for over 300 yards and four touchdowns. For Tampa Bay to flip the script on Stafford and the Rams, they will need to commit more to running the ball. They attempted just 13 runs for 35 yards in their first meeting with the Rams this season, and will need to work harder to control the clock and keep the explosive Los Angeles offense off the field.
