The Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos are in the bottom two spots in the AFC West standings. With both teams in the midst of disappointing campaigns, games like this one are important as both teams look to avoid last place. In our NFL betting predictions for Sunday afternoon, we break down Raiders vs Broncos from the Mile High City.
Raiders vs Broncos Betting Pick
This game will be played at Empower Field at Mile High at 4:05 PM ET on Sunday, November 20, 2022.
Why Bet The Broncos:
✅ The Denver Broncos have the number one scoring defense in the NFL, while the Raiders are in the bottom-five in that category. While the Broncos are inferior offensively, their defense will be good enough to help them get a win here.
✅ Las Vegas is a middle of the pack offense in terms of yards per game on the season. They do not have the firepower to deal with the Denver defense in Denver, especially with Derek Carr leading his team’s offense to 20 or fewer points in three straight games.
✅ This line speaks to the Broncos being a better play than the Raiders. Both teams are 3-6 against the spread, and the Raiders beat them in Las Vegas earlier this season. But the Broncos are still slight favorites in spite of those facts, and the fact that their offense has been terrible for most of this year.

Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders lost to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10, in an embarrassing loss for Raiders coach Josh McDaniels. They were beaten by a Colts team whose coach was taking part in his first game as an NFL coach. That cast some further doubts on the viability of Josh McDaniels as the Raiders head coach for the future.
In this contest, the Raiders have to get stops, but last week raised questions about whether or not they can do that. Matt Ryan helped tear up the Raiders defense last week. Even though Russell Wilson has had a rough year, there is no reason to be confident in the Raiders defense after what we saw against the Colts.
Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos suffered another low-scoring loss last week, falling against the Tennessee Titans. The Titans held the Broncos to just 10 points, as the Broncos remained the team with the worst scoring offense in the NFL. In this game, the Broncos will aim to have a better offensive showing against a porous Raiders defense.
Running the football has to be a priority for the Broncos coming into this game against the Raiders. Denver ran the ball for just 65 yards against Tennessee, putting pressure on Russell Wilson to deliver offensively in a way that he has not all season. If Melvin Gordon and company can get going on the ground, it could uplift the entire Denver offense.
