Why Bet The Over
✅ Both the Titans and Chiefs have highly effective offenses and inept defenses as a whole. Chiefs games average a combined 60.2 points per game this season. Needless to say, that is the highest figure in the league. There is no such thing as a matchup that the Patrick Mahomes lead offense does not eventually figure out, but there are some that are essentially beaten before the game starts. The Chiefs have played three matchups against subpar defenses/secondaries thus far in 2021. They have had three of their four highest scoring outputs in those games. They scored 33, 42 and 31 points in those contests. The matchup with the Titans is the softest yet, and one Mahomes is going to put on a fireworks display in.
✅ The Titans are also no stranger to high scoring affairs. Their games average 54.5 points per game this season. While this is a gaudy figure, it is not a true indication of how exploitable they are on the defensive side, particularly in the secondary. The 26.8 points per game allowed on defense is actually complimentary versus what they actually are. The matchups they have already played with the anemic Jaguars and Jets, and an additional slower game with the Colts, puts in perspective just how exploitable they are. They allowed at least 30 points in their other three games and it would be a shock of sorts if they were able to keep the Chiefs under 40.

✅ The Titans, despite being so leaky on defense, are 4-2 and have Derrick Henry to thank for that. The running back has been in a league of his own in 2021 and will get al he can eat on Sunday. he Chiefs defense is absolutely exploitable at all levels, but the rush defense is going to be their biggest problem on Sunday. They are sixth worst in the league, allowing 133.2 yards per game on the ground. That figure inflates to 149.3 yards per game in road games. Henry is going to eat as these teams put on a show in a shootout.
