Head to Head
Teams Last 10
This game will be played at Nissan Stadium at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, October 23, 2022.
Why Bet The Colts:
✅ Both of these teams have had similar struggles offensively, but the defense of the Colts is much better than that of the Titans. Indianapolis ranks seventh in the NFL in yards per play allowed, while the Titans rank 30th in that category. Expect the Colts to do a better job of limiting the opposing offense than the Titans en route to a division win here.

✅ Tennessee won the first meeting between these teams, but they were not the better team over the final three quarters of that game. We have already seen the Colts win a revenge game in their division last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. They could very well do the same in this game against the Titans on the road.
✅ Even after winning three games in a row, the Tennessee Titans are still one of the worst passing teams in the NFL. They average the fifth fewest passing yards per game, averaging 175.4 yards per game through the air. Indianapolis will continue to keep the Tennessee passing attack from getting going in this contest.
Indianapolis Colts
It was not easy, but the Indianapolis Colts picked up a much needed win at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. They got a late touchdown pass from Matt Ryan in the final seconds of the game to move ahead of the Jaguars in that contest. Here, the Colts will look for a second straight strong offensive performance against a division opponent to earn a third straight victory.
For the Colts, the key to this game is going to be getting off to a better start than they did the first time they played the Titans this season. They fell behind by two scores early on against the Titans last time these two teams met, and still nearly came back to tie things up in the fourth quarter. With a stronger start, the Colts could very well end up on top this time around.
Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans had a bye week in Week 6, and will come into this contest the more rested of the two teams. But rest is only valuable if a team can execute their game plan after it, and that will be the question for this team as they look for their fourth consecutive victory. Defensive execution has been lacking for the Titans this season, and that side of the ball is what will decide things for Mike Vrabel’s team here.
The Titans are ranked 30th in the NFL in yards per play allowed this season, giving up 6.3 yards per play to opposing offenses. They rank dead last in the league in passing yards allowed, giving up 287.6 yards per game. While Matt Ryan has been far from consistent, he is certainly capable of carving up the Titans if they do not step things up on defense.
