Why Bet The Cowboys:
✅ This line is lower than it should be due to the injury situation surrounding Dak Prescott. Prescott, who could play in this game, would be leading a much heavier favorite if he was fully healthy and not dealing with a calf injury. But whether it is Cooper Rush or Dak Prescott leading the Cowboys this coming week, Dallas should be able to take care of business against Denver.
✅ The reason that Dallas will cover against Denver is that the Denver offense just isn’t playing well enough to win football games against quality opponents. They were limited to under 20 points at home in Week 8 against a Washington defense that has made some of the worst quarterbacks in the sport look good this year. Denver is gaining a full yard per play less than the Cowboys on the season so far.

✅ Denver’s pass rush is about to get a whole lot worse, with Von Miller set to be traded to the LA Rams. Reports have come out on Monday that Miller will be sent to Los Angeles, which will make it much more difficult for the Broncos defense to get pressure on whichever quarterback is on the field for the Cowboys.
Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos snapped a four-game losing streak this past week, when they managed to hold off the Washington Football Team at home. It wasn’t easy, as the Broncos’ offense was held in check and Denver committed a late fumble that gave Washington a second chance to tie the game. But Denver has moved to 4-4 on the season with the win, and is still alive in the playoff race despite their offensive issues.
This week, the Broncos will be challenged on both sides of the ball, as they face an effective Dallas offense that is aided by an underrated Dallas defense. The Cowboys have been especially good at forcing turnovers this year, which could pose problems for Teddy Bridgewater, who has been struggling enough as it is.
Dallas Cowboys
In perhaps the gutsiest victory of Week 8 in the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys went into Minnesota and beat the Vikings outright with backup quarterback Cooper Rush. Dak Prescott sat the game out due to a calf issue, though he was reported to have looked good in pre-game workouts. That victory helped the Cowboys retain their stranglehold on the NFC East, which they will look to tighten against the Broncos.
For Dallas, the passing game looks to be an effective weapon even with Rush at quarterback, as he was able to find deep pass completions regularly against the Vikings. Denver does boast a better defense than that of Minnesota, but the Cowboys will either have Prescott back or can rely on a player in Rush who now has a start and a win under his belt.
