The AFC North has been as mediocre as it gets through the first six weeks of the 2022 NFL season. The Baltimore Ravens are at the top of the division at 3-3, while the Cleveland Browns are at the bottom at 2-4. On Sunday, they face off in a division matchup, where the winner could help give themselves the inside track to a division title. Our NFL picks for this week include this weekend’s Browns vs Ravens matchup.

Head to Head
Teams Last 10
This game will be played at M&T Bank Stadium at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, October 23, 2022.
Why Bet The Ravens:
✅ The Cleveland Browns have struggled mightily over the last three weeks, losing three games in a row to the Falcons, Chargers, and Patriots. Their defense has had trouble in their last two games, allowing 34 points per game to the Chargers and Patriots. The Ravens will take advantage of Cleveland’s defensive issues en route to a much-needed victory.

✅ Baltimore is way better at forcing turnovers and avoiding turnovers than the Cleveland Browns this season. The Ravens are tied for the second-best turnover margin in the NFL so far at +4, while the Browns have a -3 turnover margin so far this year. The Ravens’ superior ability to take care of the football will work in their favor at home here.
✅ The predictability of the Cleveland offense will be a problem for them on the road here. The Browns rank first in the NFL with 172 rushing yards per game. But Jacoby Brissett and the Browns are averaging just 213 passing yards per game. The Ravens will force the Browns to beat them with Brissett, which will not go well for the Browns.
Cleveland Browns
Things have not gone well for the Cleveland Browns of late. They have lost three straight games, including two in a row at home in the last two weeks. This week, the Browns head back out on the road against the rival Ravens. But to beat the Ravens, the Browns need to be more well-rounded offensively.
The formula for the Browns has been simple on offense this season: run the ball early and often. Until Deshaun Watson is eligible to return for the Browns, that will likely continue to be the team’s offensive mantra. But the Ravens will know that, and the ability to mix things up and beat Baltimore through the air occasionally will be huge on Sunday.
Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens had a 10-point lead against the New York Giants in the second half of their Week 6 game. But the Ravens allowed the Giants to score the final 14 points of the game en route to a devastating loss for John Harbaugh’s team. This week, the Ravens will look to get back on track at home against the Browns.
Baltimore is 1-2 at home this season, but they could have been 3-0 if not for blown leads against both the Dolphins and Bills. Baltimore has really struggled to hold leads in the second half of games this season. If they cannot hold on against a Browns team that struggles to move the ball through the air, this season could go off the rails in a hurry for the Ravens.
