Why Bet The Patriots:
✅ Last week, the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but that loss was not as good as it looked on paper. The Bengals went down 17-0 and needed turnover after turnover from the Bucs to get back into that game. The Patriots will avoid those mistakes here and that will help them keep this within a field goal.
✅ After the way their loss to the Las Vegas Raiders ended in Week 15, the Patriots are going to go through some rough practices this coming week. They will have situational football drilled into their heads, and they will be much more sound this time around.
✅ New England ranks ninth against the pass in the NFL this year, giving up 202 yards per game through the air. They will do just enough to slow down Joe Burrow for the majority of this game in New England.

Cincinnati Bengals
Last week, the Cincinnati Bengals fell behind by 17 points to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Tampa Bay. But they responded in the second half by forcing turnover after turnover for Tampa, and taking the game quite comfortably in the end. This week, the Bengals will hope for a four-quarter performance that resembles their second half in Tampa, rather than their first half.
For Cincinnati, avoiding turnovers is going to be their key to victory here against the Patriots. The Buccaneers would have had no chance to beat the Bengals if Joe Burrow and company didn’t open the door with early turnovers in Week 15. If they can cut those out this time around, the Bengals could get another win and move just a little bit closer to the AFC North title.
New England Patriots
The New England Patriots went into the final play of regulation against the Las Vegas Raiders tied at 24-24 in Week 15. They threw a short completion that was not going to get them into scoring range, and it looked like overtime was coming. Instead, they tried to pitch the ball around the field, with Jakobi Myers turning the ball over and Chandler Jones running the ball in to hand the Patriots an embarrassing loss.
The offense of the Patriots is simply unreliable at this point in time, even if they scored a respectable 24 points their last time out. Outside of Rhamondre Stevenson, who had 172 yards on the ground last week, no Patriots player has stood out on the offensive side of the ball. If that does not chance, the Patriots could drop to 7-8 this week and be in real trouble in the playoff race in the AFC.
