This game will be played at Hard Rock Stadium at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, September 25, 2022.
Why Bet The Bills:
✅ The Bills have already shown that they are more than capable of winning big games on the road. They beat the defending Super Bowl champions in Los Angeles, getting the better of the Los Angeles Rams on the road in Week 1. Buffalo has won three straight games in Miami, and will make it a fourth straight with a win and a cover here.
✅ This rivalry has been one-sided since Josh Allen has taken over as the quarterback of the Buffalo Bills. Allen and the Bills have won six straight games against the Dolphins dating back to the 2019 season. Five of those wins have come by double digits for the Bills, with the lone exception coming in 2020 in Miami. Expect another convincing victory for the Bills in this contest to move them ahead of the Dolphins in the AFC East standings.
✅ Looking at Week 2, the Miami Dolphins were incredibly fortunate to come back and beat the Baltimore Ravens from 21 points down in the fourth quarter. Had the Dolphins not come back and won that game, the Dolphins would likely be even bigger underdogs here. Expect the Bills to not relinquish a similar lead in this contest and for Buffalo to strengthen their grip on the AFC East.
Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills will come into this Bills vs Dolphins game on a short week, after playing the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football. They also come into this game on a sizable win streak against the Miami Dolphins, having won six games in a row over Miami. This week, the Bills will look for their seventh straight victory over their AFC East rivals, while continuing to build their resume to try and win the AFC East yet again.
The defense of the Bills is going to be the biggest decider in terms of whether or not Buffalo can eat Miami in Week 3. Buffalo has had the best defense in the league in yards per play last season and has followed that up with a strong start this season. But in order to beat the Dolphins, they will need to slow down Tyreek Hill and the rest of the weapons that Miami used to beat the Ravens in Week 2.
Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins very nearly lost their Week 2 game against the Baltimore Ravens, but improved to 2-0 behind a huge comeback. Miami trailed by 21 points in the fourth quarter, but piled up touchdown over touchdown in the final 12 minutes of play to beat the Ravens. Now, the Dolphins will aim for a third straight win to move atop the AFC East and begin building a buffer in what should be a competitive division this season.
For the Dolphins, defense in the first three quarters of play will be a massive factor in deciding how this game will go. While Tua Tagovailoa racked up six touchdown passes against the Ravens, things would have been much easier for him had he not had to come back from three scores down last Sunday. Miami has to avoid another huge deficit in this game, or the Bills will hand them their first loss of the 2022 season.
