NFL football is finally back! After a long offseason, the much anticipated Thursday Night Football season opener is only a few short days away. The defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams prepare to play host to this year’s Super Bowl favorites, the Buffalo Bills in a blockbuster affair worthy of the season opener.
Same Game Parlays are also back for another season as the hottest trend in sports betting only continues to gain in popularity. NFL bettors are now looking for the juiciest parlays possible to get in on the action in the chase for a big payout alongside traditional single wagers.
So what is the best Bills vs Rams parlay for Thursday night’s clash between the defending champions and this year’s Super Bowl favorites? Let’s take a look at a tasty ticket for those looking to place a Same Game Parlay to start a new NFL betting season.
Pick 1 | Buffalo Bills ML -132 |
Pick 2 | Josh Allen Over 274.5 passing yards |
Pick 3 | Matthew Stafford Over 270.5 passing yards |
Parlay Odds | +505 ($20 to win 101.07) |
Pick #1: Buffalo Bills moneyline -132
The first wager on this Bills vs Rams parlay ticket backs the Buffalo Bills to open the season with a statement of intent for a team on the hunt for a Super Bowl trip. Buffalo came ever so close to punching their first trip to the big game since the early 90s last season, falling short yet again to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round.
After heartbreak, the Bills front office loaded the team up to hopefully make the Super Bowl leap this time around. The big move the Bills made was to weaken the Super Bowl champs and their Week 1 opponents by stealing future Hall of Fame pass rusher Von Miller from the Rams. The addition of Miller gives the Bills a locker room leader who has two Super Bowls with two different teams and also a still dangerous pass rusher who can get after the quarterback.
With mostly all of their key players coming back and the addition of Miller along with a strong pool of draft picks, the Bills appear to be the best team in football as we begin the season. Expect them to come out flying to prove to the league that this really is the year for the long suffering Bills.

Pick #2: Josh Allen Over 274.5 passing yards
Josh Allen has a new offensive coordinator in Ken Dorsey, who will likely want to get his quarterback hot right away to start the season. Which is why Allen’s passing yardage over is a must add when building a Bills vs Rams parlay ticket for this game.
Beyond the narrative of a new offensive coordinator wanting to air it out a little to start the season, Allen also has a new pass catching running back in Georgia’s James Cook to rack up some cheap yards after the catch. Cook dazzled in Georgia’s national title run to end his college career and should help Allen get over the 270.5 passing yard number in his NFL debut.
As a side note, bettors should watch out for Cook receiving yard overs later in the season when the oddsmakers get around to listing lines on the rookie.

Pick #3: Matthew Stafford Over 270.5 passing yards
Despite feeling confident the Bills will win this game, I am also confident that Matthew Stafford will find his way into putting up some good passing numbers on the night. Especially after examining Stafford’s game logs from last season.
Stafford threw for 271 yards or more 12 times last year. In fact, the gunslinger tossed for 300 or more yards on seven occasions in his first year with the Rams. The Bills defense is a tough task for anybody to beat and certainly presents a challenge for Stafford. However, you have to like the number given Stafford’s form from last season in a game where the Rams could be trying to chase a comeback in the fourth quarter.

Bills vs Rams Preview
Los Angeles looks to avoid a Super Bowl hangover as defending champs without a handful of star names that contributed to their championship season. As mentioned, Von Miller will suit up for the opponents in this game with the Bills. Also gone is wideout Odell Beckham Jr. who picked up a knee injury during the Super Bowl, and now retired OL Andrew Whitworth.
The Rams did well to replace those players with very capable replacements such as linebacker Bobby Wagner, wideout Allen Robinson and two offensive line additions in Joseph Noteboom and Coleman Shelton. Still, the Rams face a challenge in replicating what they did well last season with a new cast of characters.
For trend bettors, Sean McVay is undefeated in Week 1 games since taking over as head coach of the Rams. Buffalo lacks a Week 1 winning streak as they fell 23-16 to the Pittsburgh Steelers at home last season.
