Sunday’s NFL Week 8 Same Game Parlay picks begin with the early morning kickoff in London between the Denver Broncos and Jacksonville Jaguars. A clash of two teams in desperate need of a win to save their seasons as both the Jags and Broncos hold 2-5 records and are sinking fast down the Wild Card and divisional standings. Here, we assemble a Broncos vs Jaguars parlay for this contest from Wembley Stadium.
Jacksonville started the season on a promising note, holding a 2-1 record after Week 3 that included an upset win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Since then, it has been a much different story as the Jaguars have lost four straight games before heading on the plane across the Atlantic to take on the Broncos in London. This is also the first of three straight games against the AFC West for the Jaguars, who have the challenge of running the gauntlet of one of the toughest divisions in the NFL over the course of the next few weeks.
Unlike the Jaguars, the Broncos season has been a disaster from the jump. Quarterback Russell Wilson’s move to Denver is an abject failure so far, as is the hire of head coach Nathaniel Hackett. The struggling Wilson makes his return from injury in London after making waves for rehabbing his hamstring injury in the aisle of the plane during the team’s international flight this week.
What are the best bets for Sunday morning? Let’s take a look at the three best value plays in a hefty Broncos vs Jaguars Same Game Parlay: English Breakfast Edition.

Pick 1: Jacksonville Jaguars ML (-136)
The first leg of the London SGP backs the Jacksonville Jaguars as the better of two putrid teams in this matchup of misery. While the Broncos have been losing in uglier and uglier fashion each week, the Jags have at least shown signs of life during their four game losing streak.
If not for the elite redzone defense of the New York Giants, the Jaguars would be entering this game with a win as they outplayed New York for most of the four quarters last week. The Jags even literally fell an inch short of winning the game in the dying seconds as a last gasp completion from Trevor Lawrence was stuffed at the goal line to preserve a 23-17 Giants win.
With Russell Wilson coming off of a hamstring injury and it being uncertain if he will even be able to play at his already dreadful 2022 level, it feels a bit better to back the Jags than it would to back the Broncos in this truly terrible London matchup.

Pick 2: Travis Etienne Over 68.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Travis Etienne is officially the feature back in Jacksonville after the Jags shipped out James Robinson before hopping on the plane to England. The lead back role was earned by Etienne, who has been on a tear in recent weeks despite the team’s struggles.
Etienne has rushed for 70 yards in each of the last three games, putting up his season high against the Giants in a 114 yard rushing performance. Etienne received 10 or more carries in each of those three games, averaging seven yards per carry or more along the way to some nice rushing outings.
It is clear the Jaguars coaching staff sees Etienne as the future of the Jacksonville rushing attack. Expect to see 10-15+ touches for Etienne on the ground on Sunday, hopefully enough to see him clear the over rushing yards for prop bettors.

Pick 3: Christian Kirk Over 51.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
Christian Kirk bounced back from some recent poor outings last week against the Giants, catching seven passes on ten targets for 96 yards in the loss. In the two previous games, Kirk was limited to just eight combined catches and 35 yards as he fell off from a strong start to the season.
Throwing away the struggles in Week 5 and Week 6, Kirk has tallied 52 or more receiving yards in every other game this season. Receiving close to double digit targets every Sunday, Kirk should see enough attention to hit the 50+ marker for another week.

Broncos vs Jaguars Preview
Denver’s offense remained innifective last week with a change at quarterback as backup Brett Rypien failed to provide a spark in Russell Wilson’s absence. The Broncos scored just seven points in a loss to the New York Jets, putting their points per game at a league worst 14.3.
The Denver Broncos offense has been so bad they have been unable to capitalize on a stout defensive unit’s efforts so far this season. The Broncos sit third in points allowed at 16.4 per game, second in total yards allowed, and also possess the second best pass defense in the NFL. If only the Broncos offense could catch up, the defense’s efforts would be more noteworthy across the league.
The last time the Jacksonville Jaguars played in London, they snapped a 20 game losing streak in the dying seconds. Jacksonville won 23-20 against the Miami Dolphins on that day and will hope to repeat history by ending their four game losing streak back in London against the Broncos as -2.5 favorites against the spread.
