This game will be played at Raymond James Stadium at 8:15 PM ET on Thursday, October 27, 2022.
Why Bet The Ravens:
✅ The offense of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been simply putrid so far this season. Tampa Bay is tied for 25th in the league with an average of 17.7 points per game on the year. They are averaging 5.1 yards per play, which puts them in a tie for 22nd in the league with teams like the Jets, Panthers, and Broncos. Their offensive struggles will continue here, and put them further behind the eight-ball in the NFC playoff picture.

✅ Baltimore is trending in the right direction from a defensive point of view over the last few weeks. They were allowing more yards per play than any team in the league not long ago. But they have allowed under 5.0 yards per play over the last three weeks, tied for the fourth-best number over that span. Expect Baltimore’s defensive renaissance to continue in this game against a struggling Bucs squad.
✅ Do not expect the Buccaneers’ league-worst rushing attack to perform better this week than it has previously. Tampa Bay averages 64.4 yards per game on the ground, less than any other team in the NFL. This week, they face a top-10 run defense in the league in Baltimore, which just held the elite Browns rushing attack to 113 yards as a team.
Baltimore Ravens
In Week 7, the Baltimore Ravens had another double-digit second half lead. This time, they managed to hold on against the Cleveland Browns, though the Browns cut the Ravens lead to three points along the way. This week, the Ravens will hope for a less dramatic victory against Tom Brady and the reeling Buccaneers.
For the Ravens, continuing to clamp down on the run will be huge in this Ravens vs Buccaneers contest. It is clear that the Buccaneers struggle to convert third downs without being able to run the ball into favorable down and distances. Tampa Bay ranks 26th in the NFL in third down conversion rate this year at 35.11%. If the Ravens can force them into third and long situations, this game could go Baltimore’s way.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers put forth one of the worst performances of the 2022 NFL season in Week 7. They were beaten 21-3 by a Carolina Panthers team that just traded two of their top offensive weapons away in Robbie Anderson and Christian McCaffrey. Panthers third string quarterback P.J. Walker outperformed Tom Brady, in a game the Bucs will aim to bounce back from here on Thursday Night Football.
For the Buccaneers, it is hard to pinpoint just where their offensive issues are coming from. That is because their offensive issues are coming from everywhere. They rank dead last in yards per carry as a team, and are in the bottom half of the league in yards per pass attempt as well. If they cannot find a way to knock something loose offensively, the Bucs could be in danger of falling behind in the NFC South and the NFC playoff race as a whole.
