Wizards vs Suns Betting Pick
This game will be played at Footprint Center at 9:00 PM ET on Thursday, December 26, 2021.
Why Bet The Suns:
✅ The Washington Wizards are free falling as of late, losing six of their last seven games. They failed to close out a lead after three quarters against the Sacramento Kings just a night ago, giving them a third straight loss. Here, the rock-solid Suns will punish the inconsistent play of the Wizards.
✅ Fatigue could also be a factor here for the Wizards, as they are playing in a game that is starting less than 24 hours after the tip of their game last night. The Kings play with a pace that can wear teams out, and having to play a second straight game after facing Sacramento is never an easy thing to do.

✅ The Suns don’t have Devin Booker available, but that hasn’t slowed them down much lately. Phoenix is 3-1 since having their 18-game winning streak snapped by the Golden State Warriors. They will continue to roll, winning this game to move into a tie with the Warriors for the best record in the NBA.
Washington Wizards
The Washington Wizards suffered a difficult loss on Wednesday night, faltering in the fourth quarter to lose to the Sacramento Kings. That was the third straight loss suffered by the Wizards, and their sixth in seven games. Their only win during that stretch was an overtime win against a Detroit Pistons team that might be the worst squad in the NBA this season, or at least in that discussion.
The defense of the Wizards has been letting them down in a big way, as they have allowed 100 or more points in five straight games. Against an elite offensive team like the Suns, that kind of poor defense is certainly not going to fly, and Washington could be blown out if they do not do a better job of guarding.
Phoenix Suns
The Phoenix Suns picked up a win in their last game, beating the Portland Trail Blazers in overtime to move to 22-5 on the season. DeAndre Ayton had 28 points and 13 rebounds in that game, dominating a Portland team that has a decent big to match up with him in Jusuf Nurkic. Now the Suns look for their fourth win in five games since having their historic 18-game win streak snapped by Golden State.
Things are by no means perfect in Phoenix right now, as Devin Booker’s absence looms over the team. But Chris Paul’s ability to facilitate for role players and Ayton’s ability to control the paint still leaves them in a good spot even when their most dangerous scorer is out of action.
